Kennedy Improvement?

I'm sick of reading comments like Kennedy should win MITB or Kennedy should be WWE Champion etc etc

The guy has gone backwards since he was shipped over to Raw. He was improving (Albeit Slowly) whilst on Smackdown. Now, unless he is against a great worker like Shawn Michaels, he is terrible. If you seen him for the first time ever and he was against a poor worker, i have no doubt you would ask if he had ever wrestled before.

Even against great workers he can still be awful. I remember a match not long ago where Shawn Michaels had to tell him what to do, every single move! And he still couldent do it right.

His wrestling isnt the only thing to have suffered. His promos have gotten worse aswell. On Smackdown, he seemed to believe what he was saying & putting emotion into it. Now, he seems to be reading lines & not caring who knows.

He is supposed to be an annoying caracter and he was. On Smackdown. When on Smackdown you wanted to see him get beat. I wanted to see him lose. Now he makes you want him to leave & quickly. I dont care if he loses. I dont care if he gets beat up. All i want is for him to be off my screen.

Thats my side of the arguement, prove me wrong.

As much as I would love to, you're a 100% correct. He hasn't improved at all since moving to RAW. He was on the fast track to the main event on SD! but now I'm finding it harder and harder to care bout him. His promos have dropped off and he still cannot wrestle or at least to the point where you could put him in a main event type match.

I wouldn't say Kennedy's move to Raw has been a total disaster. He's had pretty decent feuds with Jeff Hardy and Shawn Michaels. In the match with Shawn Michaels from, I think, Armageddon, Kennedy showed a great deal of improvement in his selling (which was also on display last Monday on Raw).

As for the quality of his promos going down, I'm not sure about that either. I thought he deliver some pretty solid promos during his mini-feud with Ric Flair in Feb. and he was also decent, once again, all throughout the HBK feud. I personally think he's at the same level he was at on Smackdown.

His in-ring stuff is ok, I don't think his work in the ring is terrible but then again, in terms of improvement, I don't know what people are expecting. 450 splashes? Tope Con Hilos? Canadian Destroyers? More chain wrestling or more a mat-based offense?

He'll never be a HBK or HHH or even a Shelton Benjamin in the ring, so lower them expectations from now.

I personally don't think Kennedy is ready for the WWE title, but I do think he should have a run with the IC title. He's still the annoying heel but he had more chances to shine on Smackdown and was featured more. However, when you are trying to stand out on the same brand as John Cena, HHH, Randy Orton, HBK, Ric Flair and maybe even "Oo-Manga", it's a little hard to stress how annoying he is, especially when you have an "Italian" guy who used to go out with a Playboy covergirl using the same gimmick on Raw.

There's just something about Kennedy that doesn't scream 'main event' yet. The same thing happened with Edge until he won MITB. The rest, as they say, is history.

I am by no means a Kennedy fan, but he definitely has potential. Now, I find him bland on the mic and very average in the ring. I know he'll improve, and who knows he might even take Jeff's spot by winning MITB this year, despite looking like Finlay's bitch last week.

The future is bright for Kennedy, but he needs to improve drastically (rather than wait around for that unwarranted monster push that more or less killed Lashley's career) before he is taken seriously by anyone.

Highlight Reel

He definitely isn't main event or champion worthy right now (and has never been) but winning MITB could help a lot in reestablishing him as a worthy title challenger and future main eventer.

yeah they have dropped a lot since moving to SD! but i think his promos with flair were great

His promos have been great at times with HBK and Flair, but I have to agree with god I lose interest whenever Kennedy comes to the ring lately. Judging from crowd reaction, not alot of people in the arena care what he does either.

Man, I had him as a favourite to take out MITB (and possibly cash in and lose to the Undertaker)...but with his lack of in ring action, I'm starting to reconsider.

He wasn't on Raw for two weeks running, nor on Smackdown or ECW this week which both had MITB participants in matches... Odd choice for a potential winner, I must say.

Mr kennedy hasnt changed at all since moving from smackdown. he just isnt being pushed as much on raw as he was it happens all the time. am i the only one to notice that? raw has its favourites the old ones they dont like putting new people over on raw, they dont change at all when they move when it comes to themselves personally its jst what creative wants them to do. gregory helms is a prime example when he was on raw he had a crap gimmick and was a jobber. then he moved to smackdown and won the crusierwieght championship and held it hor over a year. look at m.v.p he is going great on smackdown. if he was to be moved to raw he would become a jobber or just used as the first match week in week out. another example is londen and kendrick they had the tittles on smackdown for ages, they get moved to raw to job for the original raw teams and get nowhere near the belts.
move mr kennedy back to smackdown i bet ya he would become a ME in just months.
