Cena ruining Raw?

So I know there's a WHOLE lot of people who do not like Cena but are any really stupid enough to say that he's ruining Raw single-handedly?

The only slight problem with his "early" return is that it might kill Jeff's push, which would be a real pity as it has been done pretty well up until now.

But on the positive side, Raw gets a legit main eventer back, who is perhaps the best on the mic in the entire company.

Any opinions on his return to date?

As long as they don't consistently force him down our throats again, I have no problem with him being back. My problem with his title run was that it was so predictable and boring. You couldn't ever go into a pay per view, and believe he was going to lose the match.

Jeff Hardys push wouldnt have continued anyway, if Cena wouldnt have come back it would have still be Triple H main eventing Mania

By the end of his push I didn't really mean he'd have been main eventing Mania but for Cena, I meant more that perhaps he'll receive last chances to main event PPVs on Raw at least. Whereas if Cena had have been out til well after Mania as originally projected Hardy might even have got his chance to hold the belt.

i think he is, now i'm just saying that cause i do indeed hate his guts, but ever since he came back i haven't been able to watch the full 2 hours of raw... maybe i just know that he is going to overcome the odds at the end of the night so i don't even bother wasting my time

I agree with most that the problem with Cena is the way he is booked. It has NOTHING to do with him as a person or wrestler in my humble opinion. I believe that even the Rock and Steve Austin would be drawing heat from crowds if they were CONSTANTLY booked in the "BAW GAWD, HOW WILL HE EVER SURVIVE?!?!?!" then beats everyone in the ring with no signs he ever got in a fight way.

Nobody had a problem with Cena when he was fueding with Edge for the WWE title and Cena tosses Edge in the river. Because Edge played such a great heel to his face it made you almost want to root for him.

People LOVED Cena when he was dissing wrestlers with his raps and thuganomics gimmick. ITS ALL ABOUT THE BOOKING.

Vince just sees $$$ with him. That's the problem.

I dont know about that, Austin constantly got booked like that.

Remember when he beat nearly all the corperation in one night? nor when he would randomly come to the ring and give every single guy in there a stunner?


Thats when he got booed out of the building, even in his hometown

That being said I am still a big Cena fan, and have to give him credit for the way he;s handled being jeered(unlike a certain guy over on Smackdown called Dave who sulked when the ECW crowd got on his back)

The only reason I hate Cena is that I hate his gimmick.

I hate rap so I hate the gimmick.

I enjoy Cena a lot, especially the way his character is playing out on Raw at the moment.....seemingly shorter, more intense, segments.

Of course, the real test will be once he is fully fit and whether they develop his character a little more than they have in the past to my liking. He was just too vanilla face for me last year, but I did enjoy his work a lot.

I don't think Cena is ruining RAW as a matter of fact I think he came back just at the right moment. I mean he is a way bigger draw than Orton as champion and will be great for the main event at Wrestlemania (Buyrate Wise). Personnally, I really hope HHH vs Cena for the WWE title does happen at WM 24.

As far as Jeff Hardy goes I don't see him being "pushed" aside anytime soon. The only problem I have with the way Hardy is being booked is that the I.C title isn't defended that often anymore. I mean isn't the Mid card champions supposed to defend their titles on Televised shows more often? But any I even if he doesn't win the elimination chamber I still think he will go on to win the MITB match at Mania. I really don't know how far his push will go on RAW but, I do see him being "The Champ" of one of the brands (and I don't mean ECW) by the end of the Summer. I can see Hardy being drafted over to Smackdown! since Smackdown! needs more mainevent level stars and Hardy could fued with some of the Main Eventers. Jeff Hardy is really over right now and it would be awesome as the WHC or WWE Champ.
