How does he return? Interfers in a match? Interview? Video Promo?

Who will his initial fued be with?

Announced Unforgiven Main Event: Cena vs. Orton

Orton commits some major transgression on the previous Raw/ they fake an injury, and wwe.com announces that the Raw main event is cancelled.

On Smackdown, the Cole and Jibble (my JBL nickname) continually mock Raw, maybe Teddy gets in the ring and touts smackdown as the A-show, only to be interrupted by Cena, who announces that he will be defending the title at Unforgiven, even if he has to find somebody on the street to fight. Cena may not be the greatest wrestler, but I think he's one of the best active promomen, he can make it sound good.

At Unforgiven, Cena goes to the ring, and nothing happens.

Finally, the lights go out for a few seconds, only to be illuminated by:

The Jericho countdown clock!

Jericho gets on the mike to give a speech about how he's there to save Raw and WWE from poor ratings, similar to his debut. He can say he did it once and will do it again.

Blah blah, Orton interferes at some point, Jericho kicks out of the FU, escapes the STFU, and eventually makes Cena tap to the Walls of Jericho.

End results: Cena continues fued with Orton after a cheap loss to Jericho on the next raw, and a cocky, arrogant face Jericho can fued first with Kennedy (battle of the stickmen), followed by Lashley (heel by November). At least a six month title reign before dropping the belt indirectly, in a Triple Threat, Elimination Chamber, or something like that.

If we are being realistic, I guess he'll end up on RAW (although I reckon it should be Smackdown). Anyways, the way I'd book it is to have the countdown clock at the begining of a RAW show that'll finish just before the end of the show. Then have JR and Lawler hamming up the speculation during commentary, as well as backstage segments with people like Cena who have history with Jericho.

The main event would be some sort of fatal four way match (as announced by the Coach) to determine the number one contender with people like Triple H, Orton Kennedy and Carlito (who have spent the night in qualifying matches) and after a 10+min match just as about someone is about to get the three count, the light goes out, the countdown reaches the end and Jericho comes out. Whoever got distracted gets pinned and has a gripe with Jericho and they feud to a match at survivor series (with a nice paced build)
