So everyone that watches wrestling seems to like to complain about the current champion.

Granted over the past 5 years its seems like its been either JBL, Batista, Cena or HHH splashed with a little Edge here and there but the real question is this........

Who is credible in your eyes to carry the belt on either show (ECW doesnt seem to count anymore)?

Keep in mind ratings. Keep in mind buyrates for PPV's. Keep in mind all that crap.

Randy Orton for me. I know he's not he most popular but heis one guy who i have always liked. If he sorts out his attitude he will be the main event for years.

While I think Randy Orton is a good future Champion, I think I would rather see them build up his legacy a little bit more. He should also be one of those guys that is rarely face. He is not only better as a heel, he is one of the best at it.

I do like the King Booker idea though. I can see him winning it and having all his evil henchmen working for him. This would be ideal too because it would create tons of storylines and he could even keep the title while injured if it came to be that way since his men would be fighting his battles.

I think Carlito is ready for a run with the WWE title within the next year.

They really need to build him up some more though. He is caught in mid-card limbo right now.

Well you all should know that I think Matt Hardy needs a title push... But I doubt it will ever happen.

Randy Orton needs to be champion. There is just something about a champion that people hate that make a show so freakin good. He comes out, night after night, with that belt around his waist, being cocky as can be, getting more and more heat but what can you do, he is the champ. It makes the show more exciting watching a face go after the title then a face defend it over and over and over and over and over and over agian.

I agree with Orton as champ on Raw. As for Smackdown...well...there's a long list of people that are deserving...like ummm...Batista (although the term deserving may have to be redefined here)...and that's about it really. Guys like Matt, MVP and even Rey need further development because I think that the jump from where they are now to World Champ is too big. Kane should have a decent title run, but he's been crapped on too much. I guess MArk Henry could fill the void as a dominant champ until Taker comes back.

Raw doesn't need a change, a long fued between champ Cena and Randy could be the ideal main event to lead upto 'mania, I think a long biuld fued like that could/would be ideal if done correctly. As far Smackdown, Batista is the obvious from a comercial standpoint but if you're going to have a face champ on Raw why not go heel on Smackdown with MVP, the guy has the complete package, gets great heat, does sneaky finishes superbly and most importantly can go with the best of them when he needs too. I'd take the gamble on him.

I really think he does have what it takes. For some reason he reminds me of The Rock. I think that creative have just failed in his character development. He needs to seize the reins like The Rock did when he was still Rocky Miavia. He is seriously just a few catch phrases away from being a main eventer in my opinion.
