John Cena did a guest refereeing gig on an indy show this past weekend. It was for Chaotic Wrestling in Byfield, MA, a promotion that employs his father as a manager.
The show took place at Triton Regional High School.
Cena took a bump due to a belt shot from Chaotic Champ Brian Milonas in the main event, and who should make a surprise appearance but "Mr" Vincent McMahon! Vince did a run-in on an indy show!!
The bad guys double-teamed challenger Rick Fuller, then Cena ran wild, gave Vince the FU and DQ'd Milonas as Vince ran away (to the back door and into a waiting car).
The show was a fundraiser for MADD and the local police department.
Cena's brother Dan is a policeman who was injured recently by a drunk driver.
WWE.com have done a story on it with photos etc.
Eugene also worked the show, taking on Handsome Johnny.
You can imagine how hotly this whole angle went down at a small indy show. Those in attendance must have loved it!
