Isaac Yankem.

I think this gimmick had lots of potential. If the WWE never dropped this just think...We would never know that Undertaker had a brother who used to be a dentist. I like the gimmick personally and thought it could get over well at the time that it was deployed onto the scene. Thoughts.?

Re: Isaac Yankem.

Well personally, I never saw him live, he was an ugly/scarey dude, aaaaaaaaand Kane (masked) was one of my alltime favorites and I couldn't imagine what the WWF/E would have been without such feuds as Kane and Taker, the dramatics of Paul Bearer bringing him out, the teaming with XPac and fued with DX, Pete Rose, AND even the one night as champion stand. I loved it!!
And yes, a few things could be forgotten (Katie Vick, removing the mask, then suit and no burn marks/can talk now) BUT he's great, he's been a hell of a monster, and for the most part was and still is quite entertaining.
Tho' I appreciate your statement of Issac being a good gimmick, because I think whatever gimmick Glenn Jacobs was given, he would have done it to pretty close to perfection.....but who knows!

Stunning Steve was good too, but compare it to Stone Cold!!

Kane will be missed and very much forgotten when he leaves, not so much the mad dentist.

Re: Isaac Yankem.

What ever happened to that Terra Ryzing fellow from WCW? I don't think he had much of a future in this business.

Or Mean Mark Callous. I don't think he'd have any longevity at all.

I'm sure he used to come out to "Follow the Yellow Brick Road"

It's a little known fact that Rey Mysterio was one of the munchkins that accompanied him to the ring in that intro

Re: Isaac Yankem.

Now my Wizard of Oz crossed with 80's pop reference was much much cooler.

Plus it wasn't Rey. Rey was an Oompa Looma, not a munchkin. Seriously, the proof is that gut Rey's accquired.

So when Rey won the title last year at Mania (which was sponsored by Willy Wonka), it was actually a screw job since it was his master that was sponsoring the entire event?

The mystery deepens!!

Or just gets more stooopid!!

Twist it back on topic Eric.....help me!!

Re: Isaac Yankem.

Actually i think you're right about Rey being a munchkin. The image of him saying "We represent the Lollipop Guild" is amusing.

P.S. Was this actually a serious topic?
