Triple H is currently in Birmingham, Alabama to have his leg injury from last night's PPV examined. Triple H did indeed tear his quadriceps, but fortunately for him it is on the opposite leg of his last injury. He is scheduled to have surgery to repair his torn quadriceps tomorrow.
Recovery time for a torn quadriceps typically takes nine months, so it looks like Triple H will be out of action until at least the fall. After surgery, he will be in a wheel chair for about a month or two, then on crutches for another two months, and then he will wear a leg immobilizer for another stretch of time, before finally moving into the rehab stage.
Triple H was tentatively scheduled to challenge John Cena for the WWE Title at WrestleMania in the main event. That's obviously off the cards now. WWE officials will have to devise a new main event for WrestleMania. Furthermore, the DX gimmick will likely be discontinued unless Shawn Michaels "recruits" a new member to take the place of Triple H. Although, Michaels has shown signs of being very worn down by the schedule and he probably needs some time off himself.
Son of a bitch, im sorry but that pisses me off that i don't get to see him at mania, unless he is some kind of outa ring performer, Hopefully Michaels could challenge Cena for the title but most likely Orton.

Well 9 months is the typical time for recovery, and HHH is no typical guy, so hopefully it won't take as long ,and someone on WF said that WWE.com stated it would only be 4-6 months, that would be much better.

Damn, this sucks. Well, the only upside for this I see is HBK bringing in new members to DX, I don't really see anyone at the moment though apart from Ric Flair who is DX's 'friend'. Or this could benifit Michaels as he could go into singles competition and get a push for the title. That'd be something worthwhile.
I really hope Triple H has a speedy recovery as is back to wrestling sooner than 9 months.

As I said in the other HHH thread, I would like to maybe see him as a GM for some of the time that he is healing/rehabillitating from the injury. This ruiend the DX plans but meh. I was getting sick of DX anyway. Mad that he wont see the ring at Wrestle Maina

True wrestling great the minute i saw him limping i feared the worst i dont think Ortons stupidly timed and poorly executed RKO did the game any better . To wrestle on shows his charecter and even how he shunned the trainers away and to execute pedigree with that kind of injury is brave . No HHH at the rumble or Mania he really made WM for me last year even if he came up short. Where does DX go from here ? I think hopefully Shawn can win the rumble and win at Mania that would be special then a returning ( Heel ) Triple H challanges him in months to come .
Get well soon Hunter
This has got to put a damper on VKM's storyline as well....Cause i doubt HHH will get around to fighting them lol.
I dunno. If HBK adds members to DX and stuff,, VKM might go at it again but apart from that, there really is nothing thus killing their gimmick.
