Lashley Not Living Up To WWE's Expectations

Quote:
source: prowrestlingscoops.com

The in-ring promo Bobby Lashley did on the 12/19 ECW show, which did him no favors, is another example of rushing talent. Lashley, from a promo standpoint, is nowhere close to being ready for a main event spot. One person in the middle of all this said, "Bobby is another casualty of the preposterous expectations that creative has in terms of workers. He doesn't have experience or confidence in his own promos yet, yet he's in the top slot. Way too premature. Then again, most decisions these days are becoming increasingly impulsive."

Typical Wwe here, we are always seeing 'em promoting those big stars at the first of their career when they are still a bit inexperienced but it doesn't matter. This crap is not Lashleys fault, far from. I feel its WWEs because when he sucked on the mic when he was starting out they never helped him out. They just expected him to pick up as he went, I don't blame him for that. Now for wrestling, he's on the third brand show, no one wants to be so Wwe should put him back on a show that's cared about and see how he does. In my eyes this is all crap.

Thoughts?

I never was big on Lashley and when he won the title I was pissed, I was really hoping for someone like Test to win the ECW title, ever since Lashley won it, I haven't watched no ECW and very little WWE showings...

I have never hated Lashley, but i don't like him either. WWE is making me feel like the only people with futures int he WWE are the huge guys, like Masters and the new guy Stephanie likes. Even though none of them have great mic skills.

I think becuase they did it to Lesnar, they expect that as there young still, they can handle the pressure, and I think that because they got lucky with Lesnar there trying to do it again. Big mistake IMO, ECW champion shold be someone who can at least wrestle. Nova v CM Punk would actually intruigue me, as Nova (Simon Dean) is actually a very good wrestler.

Lashley is one of my favorite stars...and they should put him back on a good program....I just pray to God he doesnt screw over WWE and go to TNA....I would hate him then....not like most...I don't hate Christian for switching, but this would be terrible if he does...I sense it

Not very much. He is a big guy so he gets push. He hasn't really done anything. He botches alot, and is stiff.

He doesn't really botch at all, the only time i really remember is when he attempted to lift Show, and well that is no easy task. Other than that, he hasn't done much good.
