WWE 3-Hour RAW Results - December 18, 2006

(1) 30-Man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal - Match features RAW announcer Jerry "The King" Lawler. Winner receives a title shot against John Cena later in the show. Shawn Michaels, Carlito, Randy Orton & Triple H all then enter the ring to complete the entrances. Eliminated: Carlito, Brooklyn Brawler, Jim Duggan, Sgt. Slaughter, Viscera, Val Venia, Ron Simmons, Shad, JTG, Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, Jerry Lawler, Jeff Hardy, Super Crazy, Jim Duggan, Trevor Murdoch, (The Highlanders must have been eliminated during the break). Kenny, Ric Flair, Eugene, Snitsky, Chris Masters, Triple H, Johnny Nitro, Lance Cade .. it's down to Orton, HBK, and Edge. HBK eliminated Orton, but Edge then eliminates HBK. WINNER: Edge. Thus, it will be EDGE vs. CENA later tonight.

- backstage, Todd Grisham interviewed Edge - he says he will once again become WWE Champion and tells Orton he's setting his sights higher.

- Jerry Lawler is back at ringside.

- An intimidated Maria interviewed Chris Masters about his upcoming match.

- Footage was shown from Armageddon last night when Joey Mercury had his nose busted open - brutal.

* later tonight: 3 on 2 handicap match - Johnny Nitro & World's Greatest Tag Team vs. Hardy Boyz.

- Todd Grisham interviewed a Russian wrestler at ringside - (Oleg) - he cut a promo in Russian - the fans booed him.

(2) Chris Masters vs. Carlito. Carlito jumps Masters during his entrance. Carlito got busted open (think it was the hard way). Masters retreated into the crowd. (No Contest)

(3) 3 on 2 Handicap Match - Johnny Nitro w/ Melina & World's Greatest Tag Team vs. Hardy Boyz. Jeff & Matt are walking slowly and limping. Shelton Benjamin rools up Matt Hardy with a handful of tights for the victory. All 3 then take out the Hardys.

- Backstage, Estrada says it doesn't make a differance who wins the title match tonight because Umaga is still going to win but he would rather it be Cena so they can make him pay for what he did to Estrada last week.

- K-Fed is backstage and says he will be doing something later tonight - Melina calls him brave.

- Jerry Lawler interviews Sylvester Stallone via satellite - he plugs Rocky Balboa, talks about Rocky 3 and his scene with Hulk Hogan and says that John Cena will beat K-Fed with 1 finger and that he must have a death wish.

(4) Ric Flair vs. Kenny Dykstra. Kenny caught Flair off guard and pinned him for the victory. After the match Flair offers a handshake and Kenny walks away.

From WWE.com; INJURY UPDATE: Carlito ran headfirst into one of the ringside handheld cameras during his heated brawl on Raw with Chris Masters, leaving Carlito bloodied. Carlito required stitches to close the wound and was treated on-site by WWE Doctor Ferdinand Rios.

(5) WWE Championship - Edge vs. John Cena. Crowd are chanting "Lets go Edge" "Lets go Cena." Men are cheering for Edge, women and children are cheering for Cena. ref bump - Orton RKO's Cena - Michaels takes out Orton - Triple H Pedigrees Edge. Cena covers Edge for the win to retain. After the match, Cena shakes hands with DX - Edge and Orton are furious - Triple H crotch chops them.

- Announed for main event: DX & John Cena vs. Rated RKO & Umaga

- In ring skit with Cryme Tyme and a guy pretending to be George Bush.

(6) Victoria vs. Mickie James (non-title). Victoria has her checklist again. Victoria defeated Mickie James with the Widows Peak. she then checks her off her list - she then adds on the bottom "Women's Championship" and leaves the list on top of Mickie.

- K-Fed is seen backstage walking towards the ring area.

- J.R. is in the ring talking about if K-Fed really is America's most hated man or if he is simply misunderstood, J.R. brings him out. Federline talks about how "K-Fed" is a personalitly made up by the media - nobody knows the real Kevin Federline, the real Federline doesnt back down from a challenge. He says he is going to shock the world and kick Cena's ass on 1/1.

(7) Rated R-K-O & Umaga w/ Estrada vs. D-Generation X & John Cena. Cena & Umaga fight to the back - Edge hits HHH with a steel chair. Orton & Edge deliver a double RKO to Michaels onto a steel chair. Triple H tries to go for his sledgehammer, but Edge drop kicks him onto the announce table. Triple H is busted open and recieves a conchairto from both Orton & Edge on top of the table. They then try to do the same to HBK in the ring but officials and agents stop them. J.R. & King take their headsets off while trainers check on DX - they are both shaking and bloodied as RAW goes off air.

Sounded like a good Raw, WWE went over the edge IMO at the end the blood loss as just too much, WWE needs to know when enough is enough...

i watched it. Matt and Jeff Hardy got cheated on. I hate Benjamin and Hass, they can kiss my ass lol jk. it was great.

The 30 man Battle Royal was ok but nothing I expected. I saw no point in Edge winning when clearly umaga is still not done and now both men will want it unless WWE planned on Edge on facing him one night witch I doubt.

John Cena vs. Edge was too predictable so it wasn't fun watching.

Charlie Haas, Johnny Nitro, & Shelton Benjamin vs. The Hardy Boyz wasnÃ‚â€™t bad and showed me we might have a very good RAW tag division and maybe a future TLC match in there so where. But the match itself was below average.

Ric Flair losing was a total let down but I shouldÃ‚â€™ve expected WWE never has him win.

WhatÃ‚â€™s new, K-Fed is annoying.

The main event was AWESOME. I mean, I was already doubting it but it surprised and ended up being a very good match.
