Rep Power: 2  | Heyman out at ECW Heyman out December 4, 2006 Distraught by the results of December to Dismember, ECW Representative Paul Heyman appeared to be distant and depressed this afternoon at the North Charleston Coliseum hours before an ECW live event. This condition was further exasperated by Mr. McMahon, who decided to send Heyman home. The WWE Chairman cited slumping television ratings and a disgruntled talent roster as causes for Mr. HeymanÂ’s dismissal. Rep Power: 2 | Heyman out of ECW is better for Heyman's sake, WWE and mainly Vince McMahon screwed his creation and made him, the ECW originals, and the overall ECW brand look like a joke, it's simply pathetic... Paul Heyman is the biggest genius in wrestling, maybe he'll go to TNA and help out with creative team there....how would WWE like them apples? ...And I'm not talking anything related to Carlito... |

Rep Power: 0 | The only reason it's failing, is because Vince is liable now, and isn't as open to the risks the old ECW used to take. Plus the majority of ECW fans are fair-weather these days. The show just doesn't have the roster to pulling off huge matches like the Elim Chamber. |

Rep Power: 3 | People think! This isn't ECW. I am a wrestling fan, any wrestling. But this isn't the old ECW. This is the new ECW. Anybody who compares it to the old one is being childish. WWE, Vince McMahon, Paul Heyman, Tommy Dreamer, ect. have all said it. This is a new ECW, a new vision. Like it or not. I personally don't mind the new ECW. Looking at it from a mark standpoint, its decent. Looking into it deeper its still decent. But when you read about how the originals can't stand it, Heyman, RVD, Sabu are all leaving. ECW is OVW, just televised with bigger names. Its for new people trying gimmicks, new people trying to get over, older stars trying to get over, or just for rejects. | |
