solution to taker vs batista

alrighty, we all know the rumored taker-batista title vs streak match at WM. Personally I want to see taker's streak untarnished but I don't see that happening. At the same time, Batista is the company's present petboy on smackdown and there is no chance in hell I want to see batista end the streak because he's a bit on the older side and doesn't need the rub. So here's my solution:

have benoit face batista at WM - title vs title

have Taker face kennedy (i know it's been done but maybe as a Hell in a cell) and have kennedy win. This way, it solidfies kennedy to the max, the streak is ended by someone who has a lot to get out of it in the long term, and batista is kept well clear of the whole thing because batista-taker won't be your 5 star classic.

Can i get a hoooooooooooooooo-rah! (or your opinions would do just nicely)

fair enough, but why not? I know that it may not get as many buy rates but I think it helps to get things done that is right for the wrestling industry in the longer term, i.e. solidfying kennedy and maybe add more prestige to the US title than benoit has already

Mr Kennedy is already on the rise and he doesnt need to face Undertaker again. Plus I dont think Undertaker should ever lose that streak.

I think Undertaker Vs Umaga has more potential for Mania if he doesnt main event.

Also Benoit will not main event Wrestkemania again. His time has been, flopped and gone. I dont despute his in-ring work but he wont work at that level again.

Batista Vs Undertaker would only work if Taker picked up the belt for one final run. I would have Taker win at Wrestlemania and maybee drop the belt 2 months later to someone like Mr Kennedy.

Benoit will probably face Chavo at Mania if booking staff still cant figure out anything more interesting than a distasteful fued over the death of a legend. :poopy:

The Main events just wont come to me this year. Dont know if thats a bad thing or a good thing .........

I like Mr Kennedy, I think he has promise. But I am never going to give up on my dream mania match of Edge -vs- Taker, both with lengthy undefeated Mania steaks, in a couple of years just to give Mr Kennedy a push

Edge isnt undefeated. He lost once but other than that hes won them all. i thinks he 6-1 or something like that.

I think edge claims to be undefeated is true, his victories include:
WM16 - triple threat tage team ladder match
WM17 - tlc 2
WM18 - defeated king booker (a feud that started over a shampoo commercial)
WM 21- won monmey in the bank
WM22 - beat foley in a tremendous hardcore match

maybe i'm missing something out because i rarely get to see any of the big four PPVs

i dont have any matchs or anything im just going by what i think i remember him saying. during an interview he was asked about his upcoming wm match and how he feels etc etc etc. he said he currently 3-1 so hes got a long way to go to beating takers record. or something similar anyway.

He's 5-0 as previously stated. I really dislike the original idea of Taker vs Kennedy in a Hell in a cell match as honestly Mania shouldn't have to rely on over the top gimmick matches. One way, I know it's been done to death latley is a triple threat match. Have Kennedy beat Tista at the Rumble, and Taker win the rumble. Thus both Tista and Taker claiming the right to fight Kennedy, who pretty much sits it out and lets the big guys kill each other for the shot.

Yeah, Edge is undefeated at Mania. He alluded to it last year which got a bunch of us thinking of the future Taker-Edge feud
