Things I liked on Raw 1/15

Ok this weeks good points with none of the negativity of a normal review.

The booking :- Liked the way WWE handled neg. press. (played on the disasterous Rosie skits of last week and the censorship of signs issues).

Also planted the start of the disolvement of Rated RKO in a brilliantly executed main event.

Booked a good gimmick match for Cena and Umaga, could they be lining up a transitional run for Umaga?

Running the Vince/Trump angle well, looks like they'll be angling towards Trump managing Hogan and Vince managing Khali at mania but they can also cross this over with Carlito if Hogan does'nt come to an agreement.

Also enjoying Kenny and Ric's series of matches, will no doubt give Kenny both the experience and the rub to move up a level in the course of 2007.

I had a sig, once.

There's not a great deal I liked this week to be honest.

*The Vince/Carlito/Khali segment was good, since Mr McMahon openly played up the negative press which came with The Donald/Rosie segment. And it gave Carlito the chance to tell Vinnie Mac that he ain't cool!

*I liked the finish of the Shelton and JTG match. A little bit of creative booking there. It was refreshing.

*Dykstras enterance music... I like it more and more each week.

The Kenny Dykstra, Flair match was pretty good. The main event was booked well, however I don't really see the need to keep D-x, with just one member around. I was more so looking forward to it ending or having some join up with HBK.

There are two ways they could go with this DX stuff.

Bring in two cocky newcomers to be tutored by HBK.

Or ...

Have HBK turn and join Rated RKO - "If you cant beat em join em type thing".

I prefer the first option but hey any will do ... HBK Vs Rated RKO doesnt do it for me.

Yeah.....while HBK was the man last night, I don't think he actually dismembered RKO, and he won't be able to keep this up week in and week out until H comes back. I was hoping for recruites last night, actually the only person I was expecting was Monty Brown. But yeah, hopefully something good and fresh will come out of HBK being alone.

Remember the Spyda, dude ..
