for some matches the rule doesnt stand, but its usually announced as a specialty match, where their is other things added. i dont even remember many TNA matches ending in dqs anyway, they generally let it go as long as its outside the ring.

That's why they screwed up the Sting/Abyss match. All this other shit happened and the match was allowed to continue, and then it ends when Sting pushes the ref? Even Mike Tenay sounded like he didn't know what was happening when Jeremy Borash announced Abyss as the new champ.

the idea was the ref warned sting but then he shoved the ref and half clothdslined him then threw abyss off the stage so he got dqed for attacking the ref and ignoring him not for throwing abyss off like tenay seemed to think. i also think their was too much of a delay between the bell ringing and the winner being announced, that kinda killed the momentium.
