So the split lines are drawn for the Spirit Squad with Kenny being pushed as the arrogant leader stealing the spotlight. However I think a good career could be really jepordised if they continue down this route. At the moment the fued Kenny looks to be running straight into is Kenny Vs Johnny or Kenny Vs the rest of SS. Seeing as no-one really cares about the rest of the Squad seeing as all they've down is eat Sweet Chin Music and sold Pedigrees for the last 3 months I can't help thinking this would be disastarous.
So the question is this.
How do you book Kenny from the time he gets beatdown by the squad (possibly sunday)?
Do you give him an associate? A manger? A prodigy?
Who do you line him up against? Title shots? Mid-card Fueds?
Personally I think he needs support and I feel he could complement the cocky attitude of team rKo, which could also give balance if they decide to expand DX.
But I really don't think he has what it takes to make it.

I think He has what it takes to go far, Hes got decent mic skills, hes very athletic. Judging by that it should put him above Lashley (he can bulk up his frame to, when he was Ken Doane in OVW He put alot of muscle on) and not to mention he has a natural charisma which dosnt hurt.
what I would do is stick him with a Manger or Sidekick (maybe Mikey?) and push him in to the IC Title scene with Nitro, Shelton, Carlito and Hardy. I think he could really showcase his skills with them and in turn get him over as a face or a heel.

I'd set him up with someone, maybe a manager or just let him roll with another wrestler and they can look out for each other. Then put him in to the IC title hunt for a little bit and see what happens.

Yeah Edge and Orton would do honors for this dude.
If not "chillin'" with them, give him a manager. A heel manager. A reeeeeeeal good heel manager............but who?
What about Jericho? Yes I know, if he's gonna' come back it should be as a superstar, but imagine what he could do for Kenny behind him (no, not homosexuallity relations), but when done right Chris can generate so much heat, and has so much of a history with many of WWE's still current big time players.
Jericho can be "too old" or "hurt", so he makes Kenny do all his dirty work. And it works! Kenny starts beating, or putting up a good show with the great ones, then somewhere down the road he could fuck up and get Chris angry. Or even Jericho could get "jelous" of Kenny's accomplishments....but either way come out of retirement, put Kenny over, and a new Legend is born!!
Maybe?
That's what I'd do right now, if I could.

They need to breakup in a way where both can stay heel, that being Kenny and then the rest of the Squad because I think the rest of the squad should continue on.
necro is on the right track. Kenny has already teamed up with Edge & Orton. Have those two convince Kenny that the Squad are a bunch of queers.. Maybe take Kenny out to the strip club or something, get him some hoes, have him start living the life..
Then the Squad will come up one day and be like "you sold out blah, blah.." and then in a match they can all just gang up on him.. Then Edge and Orton can show up and beat the fuck out of the squad and they can have a mini-feud between the heel Spirit Squad and the heel Team RKO.
It was obvious from the get go that Kenny was going to be the breakout star in the spirit squad. He seems pretty confident on the mic.. his in right skills are better than satisfactory (also seen some of his OVW work which aint bad) and he has the look which the most important thing in the WWE now days.
I can see him going far if he is used correctly in the future. A good feud with an established star like Jeff Hardy would do wonders for him, sorta like what Nitro has been doing at the moment and he's come out've his shell alot.
