So has anyone recently stopped watching wrestling? I pretty much have. There is nothing really that interests me with it anymore. They just can't seem to find the right combo to generate interest as they once did.

What is the problem with it?

Is there an answer to it or is wrestlings better days behind it?

I still watch wrestling, but it doesn't bother me much anymore if I miss some.

It is about the same way with me. I try to watch it but if something is better on I watch it instead.

Wrestling used to be a must watch for me.

Now I don't really care if I watch it or not.

I still watch it whenever Deadly puts up the vids...which is pretty much every week (love you platonically Al):P

But having said that, i only watch Raw and ECW, despite my love for JBL's commentary and i'm getting drawn into TNA a lot more. I'm still waiting for my credit card to arrive, so i can buy a "Don't Fire Eric" and a Paparazzi Productions shirt

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

i tivo raw sd ecw and ff till i c sometin i wanna check out.but imo it is gettin repetive they need to shake thangs up alot for me to be excited like in 98-02

I watch RAW live every week but I record ECW, Smackdown and TNA but I usually never watch Smackdown or ECW. I watch TNA and I love watching my ROH dvds.

I still watch it. I used to watch RAW and Smackdown every week and never miss it.

Right now, I still don't miss Smackdown at all. It's a much better show than RAW, and I try to watch RAW... but I work late and miss it, usually the 1st hour.

When ECW rebirthed, I tried to watch it... but that brand is like... "eh", and I watch it if I have nothing to do. Otherwise, I'll just skip it. But Smackdown I never miss. It sucks that it's on friday though.. I have to tape it sometimes and then watch it when I get back home later that night.

I'm more of a Smackdown fan than RAW.

With Monday Night Football on now, I stop watching RAW for the rest of the year. I am gonna be taking Monday night classes next semester, so I'm probably done watching it for a long time. SD and ECW I never watch. I will continue to get my news from here.

Anything but the Present

America has no now. We're reluctant to acknowledge the present. It's too embarrassing.

Instead, we reach into the past. Our culture is composed of sequels, reruns, remakes, revivals, reissues, rereleases, re-creations, reenactments, adaptations, anniversaries, memorabilia, oldies radio, and nostalgia record collections. World War II has been refought on television so many times, the Germans and Japanese are now drawing residuals.

Of course, being essentially out of shit, we sometiems feel the need to dress up this past preoccupation, as with pathetic references to reruns as "encore presentations".
