Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I think JBL does a good job of putting guys over on SD! Hell, he spent most of the summer hyping Khali up as a monster, even though I'm sure he thought Khali sucked. He's been great for elevating the King Booker character and also raves about Finlay. He'll sing the praises of Lashley and guys like London and Kendrick, too. But, he at least will call some guys out for being crap (Miz) or will make fun of stupid gimmicks (Jimmy Wang Yang). Yeah he ribs guys while they are in the ring, but I think it's funny and shouldn't be taken too seriously. At least he's not like Triple H, who totally blasted Chris Masters about losing weight after going off steroids, which is good for his health and adherring to the drug policy in WWE. Funny how no one can mention how HHH looks like crap since he's gone off the sauce. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I agree with that. I just don't know why you'd want to bury a young talent like that. Yes, he was brought in as "The Masterpiece" and well, now that he's lost some size (he's still big compared to the average Joe, but looks pretty average in the land of WWE), he can't really use that gimmick. There's still a lot of potential in Masters, I think. |

Right now he looks like a guy that just lost a lot of weight because he stopped juicing. Seriously, that's what he looks like. He needs to either find a way to build back the mass he had (which is probably impossible) or he needs to lose more weight and tighten up his body to look more like a Randy Orton type. He's still charasmatic and very young. If I was TNA and WWE released Masters, I'd sign him in a second. | |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Well, I felt I had to respond to this post once I saw it.. A couple months ago I was tearing into JBL for his ability as an announcer. But I think he's turned it round. But on Raw, as someone pointed out, Tazz owned him. JBL: "You were never a champion here because you can't wrestle." Tazz: "Apparently because I'm not tall enough to be a champion around here." JBL had NOTHING to come back to that, except go on about how he was a WWE Champion, and then Tazz just came back and said "Get some new material, John". Tazz is the best colour announcer that's been around for a long time - certainly since the heyday of Lawler circa-1999. Tazz is awesome, whether he's calling a match, ripping on someone for a crappy WWE-esque gimmick, explaining ring psychology, or ripping on JBL and Cole.. he's the best there is right now. To say JBL was on form at Raw is ok.. but to overlook Tazz being on form is just plain dumb. |
