Are you a fan of the "new" ECW?

I think if you kinda speperate it from its past (which is hard to do given the name), its an enjoyable broadcast, and a little bit of an alternative to Raw and Smackdown.

Im a big fan of CM Punk, and ECW newbies like Kevin Thorn, Kelly Kelly and Mike Knox continue to impress.

In addition, ive grown an affinity for Originals such as Tommy Dreamer, Sabu and Balls Mahoney.

But the main star of course has been the Big Show. Who has really picked up his game even more so since the creation of the brand. He's really busting his ass out there (not a Hell in the Cell reference) and its made for good tv.

So all in all, Im a fan. Are you?

I'm a fan in the sense that if it's on I'll watch it but I don't really have the urge to go out of my way to do so, heck I don't even bother taping it like I do with Raw or Smackdown if I know I can't see it. Give Big Show credit, he has improved his workrate drastically IMO.

For me, it's hard to be a fan of a one hour show that tries and needs to do so much, but has to rush everything due to time constraints. CM Punk is money no doubt.

My major gripe is that I think ECW needs its own stars as opposed to Raw and Smackdown afterthoughts like Hardcore Holly and Matt Striker

Basically, I'm a semi fan

ecw is cool for what it is an alternative to raw/sd. i like how they are pushin show for what he is a giant, i think they should bring some others like super crazy,shelton and hass over. now to cm punk i heard alot about him but imo he hasn't done anything yet except for a pop he gets from the crowd, i'm sure he is a good wrestler i wish they would let him show us instead of havin these half ass matches against scrubs like shannnon moore and justin credible

I havent gotten to watch at all yet, ECW has a shitty shitty time slot up here in Canada its on at like midnight on fridays or something and i dont even know which channel.

I'm not a fan. It feels too much like SD! to me, only with different wrestlers.

I have to agree with Iceman, there are some people I like watching (especially CM Punk). Part of the reason is because it's not really ECW, especially when the ONE match per show fought under ECW rules is tamer than the WWE's old hardcore division. That's only one reason though, and I still watch it.
