Something that's bugging me

Edge keeps saying he's undefeated in TLC Matches.

Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit might think differently.

They of course beat not only Edge with Christian but also The Hardyz and The Dudleyz in TLC 3.

Its just a small thing, but its a deliberate lack of continuity and it's bugging me.

What else have you noticed like that in WWE's illustrious history.

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

I don't remember specifics, but I do remember how JV used to point out the innacuracies in WCW programming as opposed to the very professional WWE (back in the day). Sure JV was a WWE mark, but when you watched the programming it was a very significant point between the two companies. I do recall WWE had a guy in creative that was there continuity man, but he either fell ill and couldn't work or passed away in around 2001. It has been totally noticeable since then that he has not been adequately replaced

I thought of that too thirty, I think I pointed that out in the RAW thread last week. It bugs me too, especially since there have only been about 6 TLC matches so it's not like their are that many to remember.

Part of the reason WWE used to be so good for these things was the head writer actually used storyboards to plan storylines.

Maybe he did, but got shot down about it. Edge is quite old school and similar to Foley & Jericho in how he likes to contribute and play on his own storylines.

What else have i noticed? Well, i have thought about it and it's not easy to come up with anything of the sort. However, the original Rockers have been credited on WWE programming for holding the tag team championship in the past, but they never made it to the belts as pointed out by Bobby Heenan on another WWE weekly program (this was a long time ago,and yes i am that old to remember). They did beat the hart foundation but never won the titles. On a similar situation the Undertaker, while managed by Ted Dibiase (or first year with Paul Bearer, i'm not really sure here) beat Hulk Hogan for the WWF title. This fact was not acknowledge for a loooong time. These are the two situations where WWE reports deviate from WWE history that i can recall.

If anyone else remebers other episodes, please do post about it. I'd like to learn something from you for a change :lick:

(Just kidding, of course)
