Smackdown was only 1 hour long... blah!

Well, even though it's just this week... i can't help but say I'm disappointed that it's only 1 hour. It was a very quick hour. All commercial breaks taken were twice as short. They took some matches out.

It just went like this.

- Rey/Vickie/Chavo segment
- Commerical
- Backstage segment of Finlay/Kennedy arguing. Cut to the ring, Miz is already in the ring. Then Miz vs Tatanka.
- Commerical
- John Cena's Movie promo again.
- Commerical
- US Title Match. For a few minutes, commercial suddenly. Not the usual "What will happen when we return?!" It was just suddenly cut off. It comes back from commercial break and we get maybe another 5-7 minutes and it was over. Mr. Kennedy won.
- Commerical
- King Booker/Batista segment

That was it. The hour went by just like that. Think of ECW's one hour show, except with super fast commercials. Just an unfortunate transition from UPN to CW. Smackdown ratings will probably take a huge hit as all the big markets suffer from this. Next week, I'll get to watch Smackdown on a Sunday afternoon from 3-5 pm... Just great.

Basically, the point of this topic was... for those who saw it.

How was Vito/Regal? And the whole MVP with his agent segment? Anything important happen?

Hardy/Helms good match?

London/Kendrick vs Pitbulls? With KC James and Idol Stevens as well.

Anything else I missed? Thanks.

I'm more of a Smackdown fan than RAW.

That sucks for people in markets doing this. I guess i'm lucky that the only problem I had was that the video was flickering for the first 40 minutes or so.

I wouldn't say you missed anything importent. Vito and Regal was alright, Vito won by countout after Regal left the ring and refused to get back in(with a look of disgust in his face).

The tag match ended when James and Stevens ran in and attacked London/Kendrick.

Don't remember much from the Hardy/Helms match.

I hadn't heard anything mentioned about there being any changes to Smackdown's schedule, in my area, so I was surprised to see that UPN had scheduled a rerun of Jacob's Ladder, Friday night. As far as I know, they still haven't aired Smackdown, around here. (Luckily, for me, there are other ways to get ahold of it, so I did get to see it).
Mr. K's right, you didn't miss much.

Next week I will have to deal with the same thing, SmackDown will air on Saturday afternoon at 5PM instead of Friday night.

I can't wait to see how bad the last Smackdown on UPN is going to be. I'm going to that show and I am expecting it to be bad.

I'm going just to see ECW.

I don't think it will be like when RAW left Spike TV. The CW is going to be half owned by Viacom(with Warner Bros. owning the other half), although they might not try as hard because of how many markets will be pre-empting SmackDown and airing it on the weekend.
