Was half way decent tonite, stupid ending though, to much focus on Vince, though I'm sure that's not a common complaint.

Thinking I'll just recap based on my predicitions & thoughts before RAW started...if there's any spare change, I'll leave it at the end.

Few quick thoughts from me before the show starts:

- How can you NOT smell an Umaga interference in the IC Title match...costs Kane the title, see these two battle to no contests for a few weeks until Unforgiven...yeaaaaah.

Anyone that saw Suumerslam, or even just read about it, knew this was coming. Good to see Umaga use a variation of the Samoan Spike, and although I didn't care for Kane bleeding at the mouth already, it drops Umaga nicely into a program with a big name. Predictions 1-0-0

- Cannot wait to see Booker T make his appearance as a Royal Servant on RAW tonite.

Hahahaha...as everyone let me know earlier, this was only going to stick if they lost their titles. The new title segment was okay...and I only say that because we saw the spinner belt get a burial at sea. Very nice. Predictions 1-0-1

- Somebody tell John Cena & Edge to bring life preservers tonite. The show's coming to you out of Harbor Yard & I have a feeling someone's going to hit the water.

Pretty much dead on here, wouldn't you say?? I know the area around there and I figured it might go down as some big brawl...How else are they going to be able to keep this program fresh and alive unless the bump it up a notch. Predicitions 2-0-1

- Jeff Hardy's "RETURN TO WWE"...funny how they keep announcing that he'll be appearing on RAW...my three best guesses would be:

1) Teddy Long makes an appearance and snatches Jeff Hardy off of RAW as part of his "new talent initiative"

2) Jeff Hardy becomes the newest memeber of Degeneration-X

3) Gets involved in the IC Title chase, along with Nitro, Carlito & Shelton

AND IN AN EVER LONGER SHOT THAN #2...

4) Jeff Hardy exempts revenge on Edge & Lita for his brother, causing him to lose the title to John Cena.

Good to see Jeff back!!! And he actually came out to confront Edge, which was my longshot pick of my four ideas...just because I didn't think WWE would throw him into the main picture. But with all the hype they've been putting behind his return, he would've either had to come in and snap Umaga's undefeated streak or get in with the main event players. Really botched end in the Edge/Hardy match, but overall I was impressed with the in-ring action. Predicitions 3-0-1

- Expecting to see Randy Orton dominate Ric Flair in their matchup tonite, taking advantage of his injuries to save some face...only way we'll see Ric Flair win is if he goes all postal with the barbed wire again tonight, or if Hogan's theme plays, Orton turns to the ramp & Flair grabs the tights for a rollup.

Randy basically dominated the match-up, or at least a little moreso than he did on Sunday with Hogan. And backstage, as I have said in my comments about Orton losing, he came out without losing too much in making it known that he had Hogan for a three count. Anybody see that new program with Carlito coming though?? Hit me as a swerve, but it'll definitely be a great set of matches & raises Carlito a half step above the IC Title IMO. Predicitions 4-0-1

- Last but not least, Foley. Heard he took 25 stitches last night in his bout with Flair. Foley is a good talent pusher, and so I think there's a good possibility we could see Melina turn on him for losing last night, with a pre-empted attack by Johnny Nitro that "puts Foley out for awhile". The guy has been killing himself in the ring again and needs some rest. Maybe we see him make a return at the Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant, taking out Nitro & pushing them to a match at Wrestlemania. They're trying to push Nitro & with Foley's relationship with Melina, it could make for a great angle to play up.

Called the Vickie Guerrero turn Sunday & the Melina turn today. When it comes right down to it, they'll bring Foley back...the guy does need some rest. But this way he comes back with a program to get situated in and everyone's happy. Except me. For having to see Vince's corpse-white ass. Predictions 5-0-1

Did pretty well with my Summerslam...guess by the end of tonite, we'll see if I'm the next Miss Cleo.

All in all, the Jeff Hardy return leveled this out to be an average show for me. The end segment was awful, and aside from Edge/Hardy there were no other matches I could call terribly entertaining. Nailed a lot of the predictions and thoughts I had put out there...I'll try to get some up before next week's edition of RAW too?

Mixed bag on Raw here's my pros and cons...

Pros
Jeff Hardy/Edge- What a way to return, he looked like he was really pumped up looked really good out there, here's hoping he can stay focused cause when he's on his game I think he could potentially be a main event player. Edge's "Didn't you die like three years ago" LMFAO between that and his yelling "Wrong!" at that little kid were the lines of the night. Great seeing the crowd so into Jeff with the "let's go Hardy chants" and he and Edge worked a really solid match, although I could have done without the Cena run in ending in a DQ it led to fun stuff later on so I can live with it. I'm throwing it out there right now. Edge vs. Cena vs. Jeff Hardy triple threat TLC match at Unforgiven.

Kane vs. Nitro- A Surprisingly good match to be done in only by another lame DQ finish. Nitro looked great out there using athleticism to its full potential.

Foley- Man his arm looked brutal, but I found his whole look when Vince said he didn't like him was perfect.

Cena Vs. Edge brawl- This thing was just fun to watch. Yeah it was kind of a rehash of the Rock v. Austin bridge incident of six years back but this was far less over the top (I mean Rock threw Austin off a friggen bridge for christ's sake, Edge just got tossed off a dock" I loved the legitimite feel of each trying to get the advantage and throw each other off the dock plus Cena had several great lines. "Become one with nature champ...you tree huggin son of a bitch" as he slams Edge into a tree. "I'll take out my hose...choke on it...choke on it".lol

Then you had Edge laying out Cena with a life preserver to the side of his melon, only to have Cena get up and let out a Wolverine like growl in chasing Edge down and tackling him from behind. I've got to tell you that was one of the most enjoyable nonwrestling segments I've seen on Raw in a long time, good stuff all around.

Cons- Way too much Vince, I mean come on I thought the Summerslam defeat would mean they would be scaling back their tv time but tonight was ridiculous. They dominated the whole show and I have to admit DX has gotton pretty stale for me over the last month or so, so I found all these segments boring and tedious wishing they cut back outside the arena to show Edge and Cena taking their epic battle to the seas or something.lol

While this was my only gripe about the show, aside from way too many DQ finishes the McMahon's were on so much they really brought down any momentum that was gained by the Hardy/Edge/Cena stuff. A moderate thumb up this week from the Wizard.

-Edge says he should get rid of the last remnant of John Cena from his life by burying the title at sea, but then he creates another Goddamn Spinner Belt only this time with a Rated R Design WTF!!! if anything he should have created something totally different so when he looks at it doesnt have that John Cena Feel to it...But to each there own.

-Good to See Jeff back, he seemed to not have lost his touch....the end dident make much sense though....who got DQ'd? The results say Hardy won, but how did he win when edge got attacked....well it was a good match til up to that point.

-I agree with ya all about to much McMahon's and the DX stuff was just kindof whatever. I really don't know what to think about DX, it doesnt have the same DX feel as it use to....Only time will tell.

-The IC title match ended the way I thought it would (so did haft the world) with Jamaga laying the smackdown on Kane...I think this Fued could work...BAWD GAWD Will Plain Kane end Jamaga's Undefeated Streak at Unforgiven? Read the Results for free at prowrestling.com to find out.

-So ummm is Foley Nailing Melina or what? :Clears Throat: Now thats off my chest, I (for some fucked up reason) dident see that coming at the end. I thought DX was going to save Foley and grab him as there new member. I did find it weird that Melina was all acting nice before she low blowed Meek in his lil testies...but I dident clue in.

Anywhoo besides all that I thought the show was good all around.

-jeff hardy looked pumped. Good to see him back with new energy and new pyro. Edge's segment was entertaining and i just cant get over lita!

-cena-edge brawl was ok, would have been cool if edge speared cena into the water sending both of them swimming

-thought it was so disrespectful how vince and shane came to the ring after the trish-victoria match and dismissed them like flies. Its happened week after week with the women's matches. you gotta feel for them

-definitely too much vince and co. Although milena's turn was coming, they could have done it without vince's kiss my ass club. Thought the wheel axle being jerked off the limo was cool

-i stand corrected, people are behind hacksaw which is weird because his moveset consists mainly of shoulder blocks, punches, clotheslines and raising his thumb

-never really liked flair much, but i have new found respect for the guy. He took a few hard knocks against randy - but he's got to find someone to manage and take it easy for a while. Carlito's feud against randy should be nothing but gold

-liked the kane-umaga bit. short, sweet and accentuated both characters with kane sitting up after the first samoan spike

overall raw is getting much better. all they need to do now is cut down on mcmahon-dx a bit, get shelton back on raw, respect the women's division more, build more tag teams, get orton the win over hogan, get the old WWE championship belt back.........

Last night's RAW is a perfect example of why I can't hardly stand to watch WWE anymore. Way too much McMahon crap on the show and the Kiss My Ass Club is beyond lame. I'm starting to think that Vince doesn't care at all what the fans want, he's just going to do things to entertain himself, and unfortunately, what he finds entertaining isn't good for business.

Edge's "new" belt is lame...why did they go through the whole thing of Lita throwing the spinner belt in the water and then have Edge's belt look excatly the same, except with the Rated R logo on there? Why not bring back the old belt?

Nice to see Jeff Hardy wasn't buried on his first night back.

D-X needs to go away. Plus, why did Vince act shocked that D-X was spraypainted on WWE headquarters...doesn't he read his own website? That was up there a month ago.

Umaga-Kane doesn't excite me, plus we all know Umaga's going over.

Melina's turn on Foley was far too predictable.

Orton was solid last night.

There's just so few redeeming qualities left in WWE programming these days. Is it really worth it to watch 2 hours of television to see 1-2 good segments? In my mind, it's not. While I like Edge as champion, he's still largely overshadowed by the McMahon-DX crap, and that's annoying. Meanwhile, young guys like Carlito (who's going to lose to Orton and gain nothing from it), Shelton and others are left to sit in the back and do nothing while their boss hogs half of the show.

I've been a wrestling fan for 22 years and I've finally reached my boiling point with WWE. I'm done...at least for a while. Maybe when Vince decides to get off my TV and they actually start to push new stars, I'll return.

For now, I'm content with watching UFC/Pride and I'll continue to watch TNA, which has far more positives on its show than its one glaring negative, which is Jarrett is still champion.

It just felt like BLAH BLAH BLAH over again.

Just a couple good things from RAW,

good to see Jeff Hardy back, hopefully he can "stay" this time.

Gald to see Cena get some revenge on Edge..

The whole DX thing is growing old and tired, esp with Vince as the main focus of the feud. Everything else was lame...
