Would Monty Brown interest WWE?

Monty Brown's contract with TNA (and the false rumour that he quit following Sunday's PPV) seems to be causing a lot of gossip from wrasslin' fans.

He seems unhappy with TNA. They seem unhappy with his lack of progress as well. But could WWE (who have show "some" interest in him) come calling? Would he be a good fit there? And under what kind of deal?

For example, part of TNA's frustration with Monty is that he has never improved the in-ring side of his game (from their point of view). They have asked him to work for Indies and build up this area of his craft, but Monty claims to make six figues per annum as a personal trainer (with various other jobs too!), money he can't make doing Indie performances. So a $750 a week deal in developmental would surely be out of the question.

So would he go straight to the main roster in WWE for you? How high up? Would you not want him there at all? If you do, which show to go on? Maybe Raw since S'Down has a similar look of performer (though many times more talented) in Lashley?

Considering that I don't think Monty Brown interests me as a wrestler, which means WWE will surely pick him up.

I can see him as kind of a manager type guy, all dressed up and blinged out, but he wouldn't create any ratings for the E.

When I first saw Monty Brown in TNA I thought he was in the wrong company. He has such great charisma. WWE would fit him much better. I see him as a main eventer.

I think Monty Brown has main-event potential. Remember when TNA first started on TV (back on FSN), Brown was being pushed as the up-and-coming babyface to take the title from Jarrett. Of course, that didn't happen and eventually, they turned him heel. He was playing a role similar to Steiner for a while and it seemed like eventually they would have Brown turn on Jarrett and they'd face off for the title...but they dropped the program.

Granted he may not be the best in-ring worker, but he's not terrible and he's very good on the mic.

I could see the WWE signing him for a little while just because he is one of the most recognizable names in TNA.

Then they would most likely get rid of him in the next round of cuts.

I'm a good old rebel,
Now thats just what I am,
And for this Yankee nation,
I do not give a damn.
I'm glad we fought against her,
I only wish we'd won.
I ain't asking any pardon for anything we've done.
