Would you be pissed if you were Shane
WWE, in a press release, described Steph's baby as the new "heir apparent to the WWE". Well, if it wasn't obvious before that Shane and his family are out in the cold in the future, it was here. Shane's wife, Marissa, gave Vince his first grandchild a few years back to next to no fanfare (save for the family smiley picture at the end of Mania 20!!)

If I were Shane I sure would be pissed, but I doubt Shane is that botherd anyway. He's always been happy running the day to day business side of things, like his mother. Shane will probably be the CEO of the company when Linda steps down... a much more important role than the one Steph will have.

I'm never sure how important (or real) Linda's role really is. I mean she didn't even get her major promotion until Vince feared he'd lose the company in the 92 court scandals. Just seemed like he put the assets in her name to protect the company. Seeing how badly she comes over on the market appraisals her "business head" seems about as blooming as her own screen personality!! I understand she has very impressive qualifications though!!

I hear that Stephanie is more like Vince and Shane is more like Linda which I can definitely see. I think Shane will be the CEO and Steph is already head of creative basically.

I thought that was because Vince and Linda were actually cousins. THeir romance was taboo until Vince resurrected his fathers business in a number of humerous situations whilst Ron Howard narrated.
