DX seems to be played out...

I love DX, but it served more as a springboard for HHH.. I think Shawn Michaels talking like he is pretending to be retarded is cheesy... I have gotten a couple laughs out of this reunited DX, but I always enjoyed DXs entheuism that came from X-Pac..

I think HHH still has it, but Shawns act isn't his personality anymore..

Shawn just doesn't look right in DX anymore and doesn't act as though he's 100% behind it in what I see him doing. His heart just doesn't seem to be in this role

I get the feeling that HBK is'nt behind it isnt because of storylines that come close to the knuckle, or the sophmoric humour. I thinks it's simply this. HBK is at his best in a wrestling match. He doesn't need a superb build or a highly personal storyline to tear down a PPV. I just get the feeling he's happiest going out of the curtain in the mid-card against a competant worker and stealing a show. That's where I love Micheals best and I'd love him to be elevating Shelton or the like about now. But that being said an half-hearted HBK in DX is still one of the most entertaining things in WWE for the past 3 years so I'm happy.

I still chuckle when I think of HBK "dancing" around the ring, a couple of weeks ago, pretending to be Shane.

I'd agree, though, that, with just him and Hunter, it's just not D-X.

This version of DX just doesn't feel nearly as risque as the original versions. I think partly because we are all pretty desensitized to the sexual innuendos and the seemingly shoot interviews that they brought to the table. Sure we can blame the performers, but I think the fact that their style has been imitated many times since the 1997 is also very much reason that DX is not as edgy as before.

Another thing, DX needs to go back to being a 'tweener stable. With or without X-Pac, the current version of happy good guys DX will continue to seem neutered. Have them attack and insult both good guys and bad guys for no reason! After they helped Eugene pin Vince McMahon, they should've clocked both of with chairs! Dump some green paint on Trish! Everyone wins!

And if they are going to continue this softcore version of DX, I suggest that they at least move them to Smackdown. They really don't need to be on cable TV to pull the "pranks" that we've seen. Why not put them on the show that's meant to cater to the more mainstream fanbase who will appreciate a name that they've heard of before. And as we all know, Smackdown is just so hurting for stars right now, the additions of HHH and HBK will help. But I guess Smackdown is not really in WWE's plans anyway

X-Pac is awful so I don't know how anybody could say DX is bad without him. Even back with the original DX stables. It was good when it was just HHH, Chyna, HBK and Rude but the second DX was nowhere near the original with the only bright spot being the WCW thing. While I am still liking DX (One of the few reasons to watch the complete garbage that is the WWE) their is one problem. And that problem isn't HBK but the fact that this is a face DX. The original DX got over with the fans but were a heel group which made it much better.
