I don't know if you guys noticed or not, but for the past few weeks, maybe even over a month... they just suddenly called the "World Heavyweight Championship" to "World Champion".
Any of you guys know by any chance why they took out the word Heavyweight? Is it because Rey Mysterio is not a heavyweight or something? So that way the WWE doesn't look dumb for putting the heavyweight title on Rey?
I don't know... I'm probably just not used to it still, I still prefer it to be the World Heavyweight Title.

I guess it's for the reason you stated... Rey Mysterio is obviously not a heavyweight. I'm sure when someone like Batista or King Booker get the belt they'll revert back to calling them the World Hevyweight Champion.
Justin Roberts called Mysterio the World Heavyweight Champion this week, so yeah I think they will go back to that name when Booker wins the title at the GAB.
