I saw the Deadly Game tourney but what makes it different from a regular tourney? It was still single elimination wasn't it?

Just what was said above. The booking all the way through was brilliant. It suckered everyone, from Rock winning a match by taking away Bossman's thrown stick (when hindsight tells you it was actullay thrown to him), just all the little things were paid attention to so, whilst good at the time, it became legendary.

Also tourneys, when done properly, enable a star to burst out, and it certainly did for The Rock. KoTR ultimately had the same effect for Austin. Tourneys can be extremely valuable in creating stars so definitely should feature once a year

Ok.. so if I'm geting this.,. you're saying you'd like a new tourney with creative booking, a huge twist, and a new breakout star? rofl.. That would be great! I just don;t have the faith in them anymore..

Any idea who wrote that? was it Russo? I bet it was Russo.. that crazy SOB..

It was an awesome tourney.. and it featured basically all my favorite stars from the last ten years..
