Rep Power: 33 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Until I got home from work to find out all the goings on involving RVD I wasn’t looking forward to RAW that much. However I was interested to see how they’d handle the title situation. You just knew Vince wouldn’t let RVD hold onto the Championship after being arrested for drugs. Bringing forward the triple threat match was a good idea. At least with this type of match you weren’t sure if it’d be John Cena or Edge walking out with the gold. Even though I like Cena, I’m glad Edge won. Rob Van Dam has fucked up big time if you ask me. He finally gets the chance to be ‘the man’ and he throws it away. It must be hard enough to wrestle a math knowing your going to lose the title, but knowing you lost it for extra curricular activities must be and even harder pill to swallow (excuse the pun!) But nevertheless, it was great to see a title change on RAW. Now onto the rest of RAW: The DX segments were quite funny. The only ones which was questionable was when Triple H and Candice were getting some oral attention and Vince was in the restrooms where there was a camera. Nice to see Lita back in action, and I’m glad she pulled out a victory. Looks like Lita will be taking a more active role in the ring from now on, with Beth Phoenix injured, and Trish looking to take some time off. Speaking of Trish, her involvement with Carlito is interesting. I’m looking forward to seeing how this all pans out. Now I know there are a few Johnny Nitro haters amongst us, but he gave another impressive display again last night. Umagna segment was just Meh. The only funny thing was DX interrupting Armando’s speech… ha ha! Nice to see a 10 man tag match on RAW, it’s something a little different. Spirit Squad were again impressive with their in ring action. However it was pretty obvious that Eugene and his ‘Friends’ would do the job. Nice to see the Highlanders debut. I’m not quite sure when Matt Striker and Rob Conway got together, but they didn’t fair too well. Conway should be fighting for the IC Strap not jobbing every week. | |

Rep Power: 15 ![]() | Just my brief thoughts: DX was pretty funny. Like others though I didn't like the Triple H/Candice part though and Vince in the bathroom was something I did not want to see or hear. Edge winning the WWE Championship!! I'm so glad they didn't have Cena win the title, and maybe now Edge will get more than a 3 week reign. BTW, that was the first WWE Title change in almost 3 year(the last was Lesnar beating Angle on SD in September 2003). Nitro looked impressive again, although I know some people here don't like him. The Highlanders has a good debut, it was interesting to see their weight announced in stones(which from my understanding they don't do that anymore) What was up with the 10 man tag match? That seemed kind of random, and wasn't that great of a match. |
