basically the tagged classics series which is starting to release ATTITUDE ERA ppv's eg KOTR 98 are fully intact, unedited, and the WWF logo isnt blurred everywhere and all WWF references are kept in.
These dvds are UK releases only.
Basically THQ won a lawsuit against the "WWF" saying they would lose out on too much money, so us UK'ers get something good for once !
I for one, hated watching those matches again with that annoying blur, but thats me.

That's great news. I have a lot of the tagged classics DVDs that have been released, and I was wondering what they would do once they got to the attitude era. The blurring is soooo distracting whilst watching.
If they're doing all PPV shows on "Tagged Classics" (and I think they are, not just KOTR and Summerslam etc) then I'll be interested
Yeah they are, I have the Final Four and Canadian Stampeed set, and In Your House 1 & 2. They haven't released a non big 5 PPV one for a while, so I guess it should be one of the next ones out.
This means we will get Wrestlemania 14 On DVD unedited, which has never been released before! Thank god I never bought that Anthology which was also shredded to bits (No Demolition Music !)...
What will come next is Summerslam 96/97, WM 13/14, 2 Random PPV's from the year of 1998, Survivor Series 93/94.

Cool.. I also didn't bother with Anthology opting to wait for the tagged classics of these events. I have Wrestlmania 20, 21 and soon 22 on DVD so I'll collect up till 19. It's quite a neat collection. I might start doing the same with Royal Rumbles and Survivor series' too.
They did mess up Anthology, the blurring was only a problem on WrestleMania XV and 2000. It was annoying though hearing Undertaker come out to his Lord of Darkness music instead of "Rollin", and Shane McMahon to come out to "No Chance In Hell"(I thought WWE owned "Here Comes the Money"?).
Is the copyright law that much different in the UK? Wasn't it a BRITISH court that said WWE couldn't use the WWF name? Also, why would THQ care what happens with WWE DVDs? I thought they only publish WWE video games?

Im not too sure on all these details, but apparantly THQ would have lost too much money as of creating the video games and deleting all wwF references so they fought and won.
This is great, it means I can get the whole attitude collection untouched on DVD. :happy:

I wish they would do that here in the US, I want to see some of the attidue era PPV's on DVD and without the blurring.
Will the WrestleMania's in these Tagged releases include the original music the wrestlers used? It's annoying hearing The Undertaker come out to his Lord of Darkness music instead of "Rollin", or for the nWo and Stacy Kiebler to come out to generic music all because WWE was too cheap to pay for them.
