Why feel sorry for Smackdown?

Why are people feeling sympathetic for Smackdown? All I'm hearing is frikkin lame excuses for why it's crap from people saying "Angle and Batista are still benched, Orton's been banned, they've not got the quality on the show"

I say that's a big pile of crap. They've got all the quality they need to have a superb little show and if the writers are using the above as an excuse for the crappiness to Vince he should see through it rightaway.

This is a show that has -

Booker T - who's been gold for the last few months and back to top form

Chris Benoit - in recent times a World Champion and main eventer two years ago at Mania who is without an angle on the show

Undertaker - a still very worthwhile performer. Oh he has an angle.....with a 9 foot greenhorn, so he's completely wasted at a time they need him

JBL - currently partaking in a cheap knock off of the same feud he had with Eddie where they have him virtually saying the same lines he did back then about latinos

Matt Hardy - Superover when he went there over six months back. Major pops at Mania. Done nothing since

MNM - Been there a year and still looking for opponents to be bought in to take them to the next level

Finlay & Lashley - Having a great feud and in excellent bang up matches with each other. Rather than keep it going (it's simple and it works after all) why not ridicule it by bringing in a leprochaun

ReyRey - Good US title type guy, booked way over his head and, even then, they can't let him win on free tv!!

Regal, Burchill - Could have been a good master and apprentice feud. But, well....someone thought a pirate would be better

Gregory Helms - Whatever happened to that nice little angle of him being the outsider from Raw taking their belt. Good idea but they lost patience with it after one week and now they once again have a cruiser champ who is a good competitor who they don't know what to do with. Noble, Kash, Crazy, London all totally underutilised potential feuds.

This is the most frustrating bit about the show. It has lots of talent, still has even now with some performers out.....but what do I see if I switch on this show? Mark Henry, Great Khali, some crap about Tatanka??

what upsets me the most is guys like london and kash who can put on one hell of a show are never on and then are will see is mark henery and the great khali.. and why are talking about the great khali what the fuck what the wwe thinking about even putting him a fucking ring.. i would rather see hogan beating somebody up 40 years younger then him... they are just not using the talent they have and they have a shit load. so no i do not feel sorry for them.

I havent been watching a lot of smackdown but i've kept up to date with the storylines and I agree its just horrible writing, horrible ideas. I really hate lately how most of us can predict what will most likely happen within the next few months. Now with this Booker T and Batista fight goin on booker T will be beating lashley maybe not for sure but you know as soon as Batista is back its only a matter of time before they're in the ring togehter. My guess...

Booker T wins KOTR and then faces JBL in about a month and a half cause JBL is probably gonna beat Rey at Judgement day, meanwhile either Booker T and Batista will either fued for the #1 contender spot or if batista isnt back yet Booker will get the title shot... beat JBL and Batista will come back be all "I want my title back"

There... 4 months of storyline in 30 seconds. Like everybody else i dont feel sorry for smackdown, but i sure wish thing would get better. There is a huge amount of talent on smackdown and its frustrating watching it either being misused or just not being used at all.
