Kenny rightfully should be the new champ. He pinned Cena 'clean' 4 or 5 times. Damn HHH.
p.s. can anyone tell me Kenny's height and weight?

Good episode overall.

Joey Styles delivered the best promo of his WWE career.

They had better not just be teasing us with the DX stuff though. They had better come through with it.

A good Raw raised to that level in my opinion because of the "look" between Michaels and Haitch. If you don't want a DX reunion I don't think this episode had much merit to you but that whole main event segment was a lot of fun to watch.

Pros-
Joey Styles cut an absolutely amazing promo. As noted in the live Raw thread he didn't say anything that wasn't necessarily true and in my opinion King came off as a much bigger asshole then Joey did for the role he played first shoving Joey then talking crap about ECW. Only bad thing is we're going to miss Joey and commentary but it looks like we're going to here more from him in the new ECW and at One Night Stand so it's all good.

Cena vs. Kenny- Both guys worked hard and Tripe H was pretty comical looking annoyed that he had to be bothered to count the wrestlers shoulders down. Liked how he casually walked up to Cena when he had Kenny in the FU and nonchalently punched him in the face before going about his business of being uninterested.

Carlito, Haas, Benjamin, and RVD- These guys are really doing a great job. Carlito in particular has raised his in ring game significantly since his initial push and seems poised for another IC reign down the road in his move towards eventual main event status. Benjamin and Van Damm are known commodoties and athletic marvels in there plus Haas has a potentially good feud brewing with Shelton.

DX reunion?- That moment when Shawn walked out on stage and he and Hunter just looked at each other actually gave me chills. Yeah a DX reunion with a couple guys past or near 40 years old is kind of strange and maybe a little sad when you think about it but this could potentially be huge ratings wise and could lead to some potentially good matches down the road. A Six month to a year resurection of DX could do wonders to the main event scene with Trips becoming a face and going to war with the McMahon's, Spirit Squad, Benjamin, ect.

Foley vs. Edge- Foley really put Edge over huge here "toughest son of a bitch I've ever faced" It will be tough to top their wrestlemania encounter and I almost wish they would save it for the next ppv but it should be entertaining no matter who comes out on top.

Cons-

divas match- Meh to the whole thing. Bad wrestling and those have to be the least sexy cheerleader uniforms I've ever seen. It was pointless T&A without the actual T&A which is just depressing.

Umaga- like the wrestler even if he is Samoa Joe lite and love the manager but that finger punch is just a lame heart punch knockoff and should not be used to end matches. Would rather see him end it with that big splash off the top.

Chris Masters- I know this guys got his fans here but he just doesn't do it for me. His marble mouthed promos coupled with his ridicioulous "unbreakable" masterlock just bores me to tears. In my eyes while Carlitio has upped his value in the ring Masters has made little improvement. Just my opinion.

Lita wearing a T-shirt- wtf Lita?! Atleast I thought we could count on you for some T&A. Yet you choose to hide those beautiful melons under a t-shirt?! For shame Lita, for shame.

overall good Raw, hopefully the writers can deliver the goods in regards to possible DX reformation in the next week or so.

Really great show IMO, best Raw in a long time.

The Joey Styles worked shoot promo was excellent. I loved how intense he was and I know he honestly believed most of what he said and enjoyed saying it. Does a good job setting up JR's return and Styles going back to ECW. I agreed with most of what he said as well.

More DX crop chops, and Triple H/HBK didn't resort to blows when staring down each other. I think a DX reunion is inevitable now.

Vince once again using his position to make out with a diva.

The SS were better GM's than Vince, they made several good decisions including the diva cheerleader tag match. The match wasn't great, but it was good to see Trish staying involved even though she can't wrestle for a few weeks.

Good promo by Mick Foley and Edge. Foley did a good job of praising Edge.

Nice idea by HBK to put the May 19th shirt on Rob Conway, and I laughed when HBK egged Kane on to get him to come back down to the ring.

It was a little strange seeing the fans cheer for Snitsky.

Overall it was an excellent Raw, much better than the mediocre Backlash.

Yes, I felt the same way. That was awesome booking! It's moments like this that keep me coming back to the product even when times are tough.

I liked RAW this week very much, so much shit going on, so many storylines.. RAW is in the best shape it's been in a long time and has a very bright future.

Styles was awesome too.

Yeah RAW was awesome. One thing I noticed tho... the people in Ohio actually liked Cena. He didn't really get a whole lot of boos tonight. With all the storylines going on and everything tonight Cena kinda got lost in the mix. It feels like he's kinda out in no man's land. Yet he still got pops tonight. I dunno. maybe this needs to be a new thread... "Cena, what now?"

This is one episode of RAW I wish I had taped because that promo by Styles was friggin awesome. Best thing I've seen on RAW in a couple of years. Whoever wrote that promo along with Styles deserved credit for calling Vince out on all the crap he's put the fans through the past several years.

I'm still against a DX reunion but if HBK and HHH really want to work together, then that's fine and I'm sure it will be good...even if I think both are a bit old for the DX gimmick.
