What happened to SD?

Ok it's been two weeks in a row now where I settle in to watch SmackDown and instead there's some movie showing on UPN. I forget the movie last week but this week was Total Recal. I got real pissed and checked Upn.com and lo there's SD! scheduled to be on but it wasn't! I check the Houston affilate and it said on the schedule that Total Recall would be on this week and SD! will be on next week.... Now, I know SD! wasn't preempted for the sole purpose of showing Arnold and Total Recall... so what's the deal?

It must be your local UPN affiliate because I know UPN aired SD here like they always do and I know others here who watch SD and I don't think they had any problems. Maybe you should call your UPN station and ask why they didn't air it.

Well, they aired it today @ 1:00pm... I just happened to flip the channel to UPN and I caught the whole thing. Wonder what happened. Oh well.

No smackdown either two weeks in a row, i thought UPN might have cancelled it or something.

Who knows, maybe it's not getting good enough numbers in it's regular Friday time-slot. A lot of the younger fans are out clubbin' and partyin'. Maybe those affiliates decided to pre-empt it until the next day, when people are more likely to be home to watch it.
Of course, I just toss a tape in the old VCR (yep, I still have one of those - hehe)
