Bret still bitching...

Bret Hart was on Off the record last night, and came off in my opinion as a whining jerk. Maybe it's just me.

Michaels may have worked a little harder, Hogan may have drawn bigger crowds, and maybe Flair lasted longer than he did, but Hart was better than all of them. He said it wasn't a night off working with Flair or Michaels, but it was a night off when people fought Bret. Steve Austin even told him that a few days ago. When Austin saw Bret's name next to his, he knew it was a night off. Bret called himself the perfect guy to work with and wishes he could've wrestled himself."

"Landsberg asked if he would ever sit down with Michaels and work things out. Bret said no. Years ago before they had their fallout, they would shake hands thinking they were square, but it never accomplished anything. Michaels never gave a sincere effort to even be honest, let alone apologize."

I don't know, but he sounds a bit conceded and an ass in this interview. But, then again, I am one of the people that are on the "Bret Screwed Bret" side of the argument.

Yeah I watched a bit of that this morning...........in all seriousness, I wasn't a HUGE fan when he wrestled, but I did have a lot of respect for him and all he's done, but now I really dislike how he's acting, and I hope he just shuts up and stops crying and can be a man about what happened NINE (9) years ago!
It actually pisses me off hearing him talk now.
I'm so on Shawns side.

I have said it before and I'll say it again. Bret needs to get over it. WrestleMania would have been a perfect time for him to do that but he chose not to. His fans just need to realize that he will never come back and give them them the right goodbye that they all deserve.

I don't really see this as Bret coming off as a bitch at all.

He has bad blood with Michaels and how can you blame him for that negativity. I think this whole notion that Bret should just forgive Shawn and act as if nothing wrong occured is a bit unrealistic.

I love Bret and I wish he'd just put everything really behind him. He says he really has but he clearly hasnt, Micheals has said already he's willing to talk to Bret but Bret is still being bitchy about it. But I really really liked Brets speach at the HOF, it was a really really good way for him to say goodbye, and i'm betting and acutally hopeing its the last time we see Bret on WWE TV, he went out the way he wanted and its a good way to remeber him. He was always one of my favs, funny acutally as my two favs as far back as the Hart Foundation and the Rockers have been Shawn Micheals and Bret Hart.

It was nearly ten years ago. I never said that he should make up with Shawn, but he should appear on WWE t.v. (no the WrestleMania induction did not count) and let his fans give him the right send off. Bret has some very loyal fans, and I believe that he owes that to them.

It was nearly ten years ago but he was completely screwed and lied to. This is his career. It doesn't matter how long ago it was, there's no reason for him to have to suffer a form of memory loss just so he can make a few fans happy.

I thought he did the proper send off at the Hall of Fame. That was the moment he was waiting for and he got it. There's nothing more to it.

I'm not saying he's being bitchy just about the Shawn issue. He talks about how great he is, and how big a man he is. But, at the same time he goes on to bitch about Hogan and HBK, and how he didn't want Shawn at the Hall Of Fame, even though Shawn was inducting his former manager Sherri!

Bret just comes off lately as a self centered, egotistical, crybaby...
