I was thinking. They should make the draft like they do in the NFL. But of course not exactly like it.

I think maybe instead of having new guys come in every now and again through out the year, it should be like the Raw GM pics a few people in ovw, then Smackdown's gm picks a few people.(all in one night, like the day after Wrestlemania or something) Throughout the year, WWE would show some clips of future prospect so we would know who they are though. And maybe only two or four big names gets the switch.

Yeah. I'm not a big fan of the idea. Sorry. i think new guys should debut out of nowhere, so that they can make their own unique impact, not through a draft style

I think it would be a fresh idea for a one off thing. Depends if they have the fresh talent ready to make the step up though. Like the idea though in theory.

Personally I think they should do away with the draft. It was cool the first coupel of years but now it's almost too predictable as to who's going to switch shows. Last year's "random" draft was a joke, not one guy who was picked was a scrub, they were all upper midcard or main event guys.

I like when guys just show up on the other show, like Angle did on SD! when he won the title. Using the explanation of their contract running out and they decided to switch shows always works, plus, it adds to the surprise element.

WWE already calls up guys from OVW too early most of the time, they also seem more importent when they make their own impact.

If they are going to keep the brand split and draft, then I would go back to how it was a couple years ago where they have the GMs come out and draw "random" names from bins(what I mean is the one where Heyman got drafted, that's the style I mean).

I agree with you Spyke. They call them up too early. The exception were Doane and Jeter in the Sprit Squad. I also think CM Punk should have been up a few months ago. Punk is a star waiting to happen.
