First, WWE loves big guy wrestlers, this will put an end to the freakish looking ones that have been so popular in the past (see: Warrior, Hogan, Batista, etc..) Also, if some of their guys like.. lets say Cena get caught it'd be horrible for them. They can't afford to lose big talent like that. I'd like to think that WWE for once is looking out for the wrestlers, but I think it's only a ploy to shut up the media over Eddie's death. | |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I too, have questions as to how WWE will enforce this. Like Blitz said, what if the first two guys to violate the policy are Randy Orton and John Cena? Will WWE suspend them? Who knows. The last time WWE had a drug policy they were strict in the beginning as they fired both the Ultimate Warrior and the British Bulldog right before Survivor Series '92 and both were two of the biggest faces in the promotion at the time. I hope for the long-term health of the wrestlers that WWE does take this policy seriously and that the wrestlers do too. We don't need to see guys dying young anymore. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | WWE Asked Scott steiner for a drugs test in 2002/3. he said "sure, but only if HHH is in the limo with me" thats from an interview ive seen online somewhere. I think the policy will affect those who aren't protected so much, Vince will risk it with one or two as he loves having the top guys have that freakish look. HHH said it "the crowd doesnt want to see two guys in the ring that are average size or anything you see on the street, they want monster physiques". |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I'm very skeptical about this drug policy, particularly over the fact that WWE is policing themselves unlike other sports where they have congressional pessure to adopt strict drug testing McMahon is not facing a similar mandate in regards to wrestling because its not as mainstream as baseball, football, or basketball. When you have guys that look like Batista and Masters its kind of hard to belive that there are no steriods in professional wrestling. |
