Rep Power: 15 ![]() | I don't think it's any one person who could bring WWE back to their glory days. Someone like The Rock could help, but they also need to build new stars like that(Cena doesn't count since he can't wrestle and most fans couldn't care less about him). They also need to go back to creating good storylines, and not just for the stars since back in 1998/1999 just about everyone had a storyline. One way is to go and hire writers who actually know about wrestling, and not people from Nickelodeon who know nothing about wrestling. |

You would always get excited to watch RAW, because you never knew what surprises were going to be popping up to out do Ted's Fed. Plaus, you had a quality writing team. (Team being all of 3 people who had intimate knowledge about the product. [Vince R, Ed F, and Vince McM.] Not 63 Sitcom/Kids Show/Stupid Crap, Hollywood monkeys on typewriters.) Give TNA about five more years, as they find thier stride, pick up more fans, and get a strong network contract deal. (Spike is helping them, but they could do better than an 1 hour show pretaped a month in advance.)

| I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking. | ||

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | In a fantasy world where these guys could still work like they could during WWE's last big run, I'd say The Rock, Stone Cold, and Mick Foley coming back would be a strong catalyst to get things back and running. Not only are these 3 guys the biggest stars to come out of that era (with HHH being the fourth), they all had a lot of locker room cred, that would help balance out some of the other politicking that goes on back there. That said, The Rock's multiplied his salary tenfold, so he's done. Foley and especially Austin aren't in any condition to wrestle on any kind of regular basis. So, my sentiments mirror everybody else's: it all comes back to Vince creating new stars.

Rep Power: 18 ![]() | It seems like WWE has a lot of younger talent who could really carry the show if given the chance. Of course, with the farm fed the field expands considerably more. I think it comes down to new booking/writing. They need a new Russo. No, not a guy who writes storylines of hands coming out of womens private areas....just a guy who really puts on some television that is new and interesting and which can capture people in that same way that he (Russo) did. |
