Angle's Greatest Rivalries

ANGLE'S GREATEST RIVALRIES

So wwe.com is counting down Kurts greatest rivalries. I was just wondering do you agree with the list? And who do you think will be his #1 rival? Is there one that they didnt list and you think they should of?

#2 - Kurt Angle vs. Triple H

Kurt Angle's rivalry with Triple H is certainly one of his most intriguing. It was filled with drama surrounding Angle's feelings for Stephanie McMahon and, of course, both men's hunger for the WWE Championship.

#3 - Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar

Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar had an extremely intense rivalry that revolved around the WWE Championship. The gold changed hands several times in this classic rivalry.

#4 - Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels

Every time Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels get in the ring, they try to steal show. So it was no wonder that when they faced each other for the first time at WrestleMania 21 that it was an instant classic.

#5 - Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit

The Wrestling Machine vs. The Rabid Wolverine. Kurt Angle's rivalry with Chris Benoit featured some of the most intense, hard-hitting, yet also technically sound matches of their careers.

#6 - Kurt Angle vs. Edge

Kurt Angle and Edge's rivalry took the two Superstars through a wide array of different matches including a Hair vs. Hair Match, a Steel Cage Match, King of the Ring and the WWE Tag Team Championship tournament.

#7 - Kurt Angle vs. The Rock

Kurt Angle and The Rock are two of the biggest Superstars in WWE history. Whenever two Superstars of their magnitude get in the ring together, you know sparks are going to fly. Relive the classic moments of their rivalry.

#8 - Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero

Any time Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle mixed it up inside the squared circle, the fans were guaranteed an instant classic. Take a look back at their rivalry including their amazing match from WrestleMania XX.

#9 - Kurt Angle vs. John Cena

This rivalry was one of Angle's most intense. The Wrestling Machine was obsessed with becoming WWE Champion, and only John Cena stood in his way. But the bad blood between these two extends all the way back to Cena's SmackDown debut in 2002.

#10 - Kurt Angle vs. Big Show

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. It's not often that Big Show is lifted up in the air and slammed to the ground, but Kurt Angle has hoisted up the largest athlete in the world for the Angle Slam on multiple occasions.

His #1 rival is Stone Cold Steve Austin. That milk truck incident was classic.

It's classic yeah, but I think Benoit should be his number one at this point. You know how many CLASSIC matches they've had? Unreal. It's like Steamboat and Flair.

Aweome career this man has put together though.

I would have went with Triple H as #1, their feud was classic and their fights involving Stephanie was great.

Steve Austin won't be a bad choice though, they did have some great moments together.

I would have included Y2J somewhere in that list. His matches with Angle when he first won the title were great. I almost thought they were going to put the belt on Jericho then. But definitely Stone Cold as number one. WHen it was the stable of Angle/Vince/Austin, it led to some funny moments on tv

Angle-Benoit should've been No. 1 on the list, like Blitz said. These two had so many great matches and the build to all the matches was good too.

I liked Angle's feud with Stone Cold, but I don't think it was better than his feuds with Benoit, Triple H or Lesnar.

Actually his feud with Haitch was one of my favourites actually. It was a good storyline build-up and kept your interest every week.
