Question for those who have watched RAW..

Ok, maybe there is somebody left in the world who doesn't know about the Bret Hart HOF induction, but I doubt it..

Anyway, my question is..

Do you think Bret will get involved in the Vince saga? Should he get involved? And if he did, what should he do?

Personally, I'd love it if he got involved. Would that go against everything he's said about working for WWE? Yeah, I suppose.. but who cares?

Bret was pissed off and he took time to vent. Have you ever said you were done with a girl and then gone out with her again?

I think it would be great for all wrestling fans and for Bret himself to truly put all of that screwjob business aside and move on. Bret could be a great manager or announcer or writer for the company.. I think it'd be way cool of him to be the better man and bury all of this nonsense.

I would completely understand if he stayed away however..

Now on to WM22.. The only thing I'd have Bret do is come out when both HBK and Vince are down, grab a chair (like Piper at WMXIX) and think about who to strike.. but then strike both of them ala SCSA.

The crowd would just go nuts, we'd all have a good laugh, it'd be a classic Wrestlemania moment, and then they could have HBK go on to win and all is forgotten.

Your idea is about as good as it could get Blitz, however I'd be just as happy for Bret to just turn up and get the adultaion without feeling the need to get involved in any angles. It would be different if there was then the possibility that he could get back in the ring once or twice a year, but without that possibility anything else just seems short term (again). What would be the point of him nailing them with the chair, what would it lead to?

I give you the point that it would be a terrific mark out moment and, since it is Mania, that in itself maybe is enough.

For me, if I were him I wouldn't want any part of that angle crap.

Yes, that's exactly what my point was.

1. It would be a HUGE moment and people would mark the fuck out.. It is Mania afterall.

2. It would IMO bring some closure to the screwjob bull and we'd never have to hear about it again.

I'm just so torn about it. On the one hand, yes great mark out, on the other hand, I suspect nothing would really give Montreal closure. In fact Bret getting involved again just sustains it, and not in a good way since it can't then actually go anywhere match wise

If we were writing it together then I'd probably let you do it as I'm not so passionately behind my arguement.

I think it would add a notch of pop to it if you had him (like you said out there with a chair or whatever and both Vince and HBK down) play to the crowd that he is going to waffle Vince with the chair. Just to waffle Shawn instead......then have Vince look like he's happy with it, have it look like he and Bret are going to hug....then have Bret viciously knock him out with the chair.

From my understanding all he's going to do is turn up at the HOF ceromony, give his speach and possibly stand on the stage for 5mins at Mania it's self.

I'd love it if he somehow got involved, but as Bulldog said there'd be no pay off if he were to hit either or both Vince and Shawn. I think we should just be happy that he's finally going to be back on WWE TV.

Very much agree, for the fact that he said he would never step foot back in the wwe. This would also finally bring closure to the whole screwjob. It also goes to show that money talks, and what Vince wants, Vince gets. It's pretty much a given that Vince had to cough up some serious $$$ to get Bret to come back..
