check out the link to his pretty hilarious blog on wwe's website. Granted 99% of the piece is about Stacy but I'm really looking forward to hear his thoughts on the Edge vs. Cena match from the Rumble. I've read elsewhere that Mick Foley and Adam Copeland grew to be good friends as a result of Mick's respect for the E&C vs. Hardy Boyz ladder matches but I'm really shocked that WWE would let Mick actually write about something as political as Edge being "pushed off the mountaintop" in regards to the WWE title. The fact that he also seems to think that it is very possible he will never hold the gold again is something that I agree with. It almost seemed by cutting his legs out from under him at the Rumble he was basically getting a token title reign for his years of service or something. Hopefully not but Mick believing this makes it all the more likely Edge's days main eventing are done in favor of more thuganomics.

I'm sure this will be used to help build towards an Edge-Foley match at WM, since that is the rumor going around these days.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, it may be built towards the Edge-Foley Match at WM even though I still hold out hope it will be a Triple Threat with Edge, HHH, and Cena.

I don't think WWE would let him put that in there unless it was the beginning of the storyline for their rumored WM match. I'm with airr though and hope he gets included in a title match at WM since Edge is a much better champ than Cena.

I dont see any upside to haveing Edge vs Foley, they need to put him in the title match at WM22 AND have him win. Edge is a much MUCh better champ then cena.

While I think Edge should still be champ, I think a feud with Foley, leading to a match at WM could help Edge. If Foley is on top of his game with promos, these two could really build up a lot of heat, I think, leading into their match. I wouldn't expect a 25-30 minute match from the two but a 10-20 minute no-holds-barred match with a lot of blood and weapons would be fine and would help re-position Edge at the top of the roster on RAW since a lot of fans still consider Foley one of the all-time greats.

Edge will hopefully get another title shot and win it soon after WM.

No one has wiped anything from their memory. Fact is that when guys perform well and have good storylines they get kudos on here. When they underperform they get slated, not many of us here are the dumb ass marks that stick by any performer however they are performing so the truth is that when Edge was in limbo and playing a whiny cry baby heel, he was poor, add Lita and his R rated superstar persona and he clicked.
