The Young Guns on RAW

No more than a couple months ago we were all expecting the likes of Shelton, Carlito, and Masters to take over RAW at least in some capacity and be the future of the brand..

What's been going on with these three lately? They've all been placed into shit storylines or haven't even gotten a stoyline of late. I don't expect these guys to be champion just yet, but they've all certainly hit a bump in the road.. Maybe the writers just don't know what to do with them.

How do you guys think WWE should go about making sure they get the most potential possible out of these three? Who would you match each guy up with, etc.. to keep or establish momentum?

We all know that all three have potential. Now it needs to be utilized.

All three are doing well in their matches it seems, i.e Benjamin has started winning again, Masters and Carlito are hanging at SS and NYR for lengthy spells in main event matches. I don't think they are doing that much wrong with any of them apart from, as you say, the lack of a storyline.

However, bearing in mind the state of current storylines would you rather they keep doing what they're doing, or would you rather they were on sexual assault charges, or sitting on a bed in the ring......creative suck so let them carry on wrasslin' and learning their craft there!!

I'm not quite sure what to do with them, but I can tell you this. Raw needs faces. And none of them are faces. There are no faces for them to fued with.

Faces on Raw: HBK. Kane? Big Show.

Look at the chamber. HBK was the only face in the match! It's no wonder these kids have no way to move up on the ladder.

I'm actually digging the buddy-buddyness with Carlito and Masters at the moment. Keep them as an alliance for a little while and i think it will do more good than harm to have learn on air together.

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

Yeah, I could definitely see a feud out of Carlito and Masters with most likely Masters playing the heel. I have a feeling a beating is coming soon from Masters on Carlito..

And you know what? I'm going to make a point here.. if they do let this build and be a decent feud, they might not hve to rely on anyone else to get them over but themselves. Remember back to Rock and HHH? They had nobody but themselves to help elevate them and that worked out just fine.. Carlito and Masters could follow in their footsteps.

Then there's Shelton. He has been winning again, but I'd like to see him get into a feud. Maybe him and Haas in the future? The only problem is that it's RAW and there's so much going on. A feud of Haas and Shelto would be huge for the SD! brand but might not be taken seriously enough on RAW.

I gotta agree with the Blitzman there. Great point. And there is definite potential in Masters/Carlito.

Hell people have already made comparisons (not very good ones) of Carlito with The Rock so yeah.

My only point on them is that it must be given time in order to mean anything. Blowing it off quickly just to get a WM match out of it would be wrong.

Carlito is not ready to be a face yet.

There's too much agreeing in this thread, because again i agree wholeheartedly with this and Bulldog has a dirty fascination with panties.....and wearing them....in public!
