Mania Card shaping up

So it is becoming that time of year again. Wrestlemania!

No matches announced yet, but its coming easier to see what might happen. The way it looks like it will be so far to me is...

Main Event
Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. Triple H vs. John Cena?

HBK vs. Vince McMahon?

Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton?

Is there any other matches you can think of that seems what the WWE is going for at this moment?

We gotta see Austin/Hogan. It was hinted at last year, and despite Austin not really wanting to do it he HAS to. He would make more money in that match than he did in any of his big time matches in the past.

When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fullfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. They will fall by the sword and be taken as prisoners to all nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
...At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.

I agree

The match wouldent be the greatest, but the Storyline, two of the biggest names in wrestling history would be awesome. I doubt it will happen though, but never say never

And hasn't Hogan got a leg/ankle injury? He's a walking injury anyway.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Hogan/Cena match where Cena plays the heel.

Also, if they don't do Taker/Edge then I'd like to see Taker vs. a heel Lashley.

Angle/Orton would be cool.

I'd love to see Mysterio/Benoit as well in a tribute to Eddie.

That's a great idea, I do hope they do that.

Ive got a question... This has always bothered me..

Wrestlemania is the biggest show of the year, but yet they usually never have any speacial matches. Yes once thet did have a hell in a cell, and they have had some ladder matches, but why dont they go all out?

Have like another money in the bank with both smackdown and raw, they could put people in like hardy, shelton again, RVD, maybe greg helms, lashey and benoit.

They could have a cage match of sorts.

Dumpster match like they did some wrestlemanias ago.

First blood maches,

etc, etc.

Of course not have every match a stip, but most of the time they might just have one match a stip if that and the rest just regular matches. Now I enjoy regular matches, but the comman fan, especially someone who really isnt a fan, but just got it causeits a big deal, or they saw it at a wrestlemania party or something, thats what they are into. I jsut dont get it. :iws:

Well Slim, they had something like that at Wrestlemania 16. Not a single one of the matches was a traditional one-on-one match. It sucked.
