| Mark Henry What is the deal with this guy? Wasn't the WWE just praying for his contract to expire? From what I heard, he had signed a 10 year contract, yeah, 10 years, with the WWE and this was his final year. Did the WWE re-sign him or is this his final hoorah and thank you from the WWE? | The guy signed a 10 year contract in 1996, so it expires next year. I don't expect WWE to re-sign him when it expires either, they probably figure they might as well use him for something until then. Besides his strength he has nothing going for him IMO and I won't miss him when he leaves. | ||||||||||||||

| I'm sure WWE figures its better to try and use him on their shows instead of keeping him down in OVW if they are paying him that money. I just can't believe Vince signed Henry to that big of deal, especially in 1996 when WWE wasn't on the best of grounds, financially. I remember reading that Vince thought Henry would be the company's next big star and that they created a whole bunch of merchandise for him and he just never panned out, even though he's been given push after push by WWE. | ||||||||||||||

| Mark Henry was OK when he first started and when he teamed with D'Lo Brown. Now he just looks really fat and boring to watch, I just don't find anything he does interesting. | ||||||||||||||

| Doesnt really interest me. Amazing how these fat large people who cant work a match stay on for years.....and talent like D-Lo Brown get put to the backburner. Heck I was watching a 98 RAW episode with D-Lo in a tag team match event v Austin and Vince, and read a sign in the front saying "give D-Lo a REAL push". Wish Vince actually did that. | ||||||||||||||
