What was it for you? It's been a quiet year for mark-out moments for me personally, but I have 3 I'd like to share..
3rd place: Batista Wins the Rumble
I've loved Batista since he burst onto the SD scene with Brother D'Von as the Deacon. And well, seeing him win the Rumble was great, just a moment I really marked for - not least as seeing his last adversary was Cena..
2nd place: Kurt Angle makes HBK tap out at Wrestlemania 21
Damn, this match was awesome.. and as written on IGN, it had the best finish of any WWE match in 2005, it was back and forth, and then FINALLY, HBK lost. It was the dream finish to a dream match, and I was so glad Angle went over HBK at Mania.. fantastic.
However, I'm going to betray the forum title, because my mark-out moment of 2005 is...
1st Place: Christian Cage debuting on TNA TV at Genesis
Well, one of my favourite wrestlers going to an up and coming company and getting the credit he deserves. Plus he truly enjoyed it. Fanastic.
And how did I nearly forget Eddie's splash off the cage.. I'm pretty sure that happened in the last year, that was AWESOME. RIP Eddie

i would have to say, like everyone else should be, matt hardy's music playing during the wedding.
i'll have to agree with DD again here, bret hart's music playing really got to me
during the gold rush tourney, when shelton flew across the ring and got caught with sweet chin music, i jumped out of bed!

I have never had so much fun watching a wrestling PPV as I did during ONS. Can't wait til next year.
On a side note: did anyone else have a hard time adjusting to RAW and Smackdown after the ECW ONS? I guess I thought they would keep up the great wrestling. What the hell was I thinking?
