Varsity Stable

I just mentioned this in News and Rumours but wanted to discuss it here. I remember someone having an idea of a Varsity stable. Just curious who that was or if one has been done before and I simply can't think of it.

But here is my lineup:
Nowinsky as a mouthpiece for the group
Benjamin as the star athlete
Some OVW tag team, two young dudes wearing oldschool steiner like ring gear, head gear and all.
Mickie James as Cheerleader
And then this new Spirit Squad guy as the comedic relief
Have them all wear Redand white letterman jackets and what not

Hell then have a Returning Rob Van Dam go heel, join the group as super cool leatherjacket wearing dude (Sorry I've gone too far)

I think it's a cool idea. And it would be a lot better than most the ideas coming out at the moment, but it's creative and interesting so it'll never happen in WWE

The Varsity Club idea has already been done, back in the days of WCW. It was the Steiner Brothers (University of Michigan), Mike Rotunda (Syracuse) and Kevin Sullivan, I believe. So, it wouldn't surprise me to see WWE recycle another idea.

I never saw the original Varsity Club so don't understand the appeal at the moment. Can't be any worse than some of what they're currently doing.
