Nunzio

Im sorry but this guy is the most underutilised piece of talent in the WWE right now. The guy made the best of a bad segment at Armaggedon (For those of you who dont know, thats the last PPV that you didnt watch!).

I think Nunzio could be the centre of a great storyline with the correct workers around him.

Now I must admit I do a heck of alot of reading about the Mafia and I am totally into Godfather, Sopranos, Scarface, This thing of ours etc - I think there is a storyline here that is already written for the limited WWE writing team.

Nunzio has the accent and the look to pull off a great Mafia boss role. He has the little man complex, the slicked back Italian look = stick the guy in a suit similar to the ones John Gotti used to wear and I think your on to a winner. Nunzio would have his "goombata" In the form of Vito and some other workers - he can order hits on workers who offend him etc

In the long term you could have one of his squad turn into an informant for an opponent and fued those two. You could have a young hood join the group and try to take control for himself.

I know I havnt ellaborated much but the potential is huge.

I thought they should have gone trough with it when they had the chance with Johnny Stamboli and Chuck Palumbo. If they make a new group and really push it forward it could really elevate Nunzio. Make him a serious threat rather than this comedy character he has become.

What do you guys think?

I'm in agreeance. Nunzio has a ton of potential and a lot of talent. And the storyline you suggest makes sense....which means it will never ever occur on WWE

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

I remember when they were taking bets in the back, that seemed like it was on the right track and then nothing. And I knwo this will ruin any credibility my opinion may ever have agan (ah well) but Johnny Stamboli was a dude who I found entertaining as hell and felt had potential.

The guy has wrasslin' talent and is well liked by Vince and the backstage cronies (allegedly). It's the kind of story that may have gone pretty well when he first started there, but he's lost so many matches and been portrayed as such a loser for so long that it's going to need something amazing to get him over with the public now. I'm not sure they'll show the patience for such an idea, nor just go along with the idea that he is now someone they should be interested in. Sometimes a push is left just too late.

Nunzio, the most under-utilized guy in WWE? Not by a long stretch of the imagination.

And a mafia angle? Some aspects of it I like, but it'd have to be subtle. The way you describe it, I imagine him in a long black, Godfather-esque coat or suit or something. Talk about a cliché! The idea of jump attacks and cronies are good, but I don't know, I just don't think Nunzio has the presence (physical or mental) that screams out 'leader' to me. I just think it'd lead to another FBI, and they sucked.. I don't like the idea very much !

Read up on Mob boses. Not always large physical guys. Usually smaller hot headed guys like John Gotti. Cliche?! Thats what wrestling angles are all about! bridging reality and over the top entertainment.

Nunzio is great on the mic and has good in ring skills. The guy needs a push full stop!
