So I was reading through the RR thread, and a people were discussing how a face needs to win the final match at Wrestlemania. So I think to myself, how predictable is that? Where's the emotion if we already know who's going to win?
I'd be a lot more interested if the participants in the main event were tweeners. If the title could go either way with lots of people happy regardless, then why don't we see more tweeners in the main event? Would you be more likely to enjoy a match with two tweeners and not be able to predict the outcome?
Maybe it's just that I'm sick of the traditional face vs. heel mentality. Mix it up and have some interesting character interation for christ's sake.

Well, what about heels vs. heels. Everyone hates Mike Tyson, but loves to see him fight. Personally I'd love to see Triple H vs. Chris Masters as a main event.

Well, what about Hogan vs Warrior? (WM6) There was a perferct face vs face main event. Or, Bret vs Shawn? (WM12) Those were both awesome bouts, as the crowds were going crazy the whole time, because they cheering on both participants. I agree that it's time for another good face/face main event at WM.

I'd love it too, but these main events never seem to work. It kinda confuses a crowd.. Do you remember Angle vs HHH at the Rumble 01? Good match, the crowd sucked though.

I would love to see face vs face, but truth be told there are no two faces on the same brand strong enough to carry a Wrestlemania Main Event in terms of advertising. Definitely not on Hogan/Warrior level anyways.
