It may be a good idea to have Edge win it. Lose at Mania but after the match Cena is attacked and beat down by a group led by Bischoff and Edge uses money in the bank to become champion right there!!

Although I think it is possible that a heel wins the Rumble, I just don't think it's gonna happen. I mean, I could have gone even further back, and it would still just be face after face after face winning the Rumble.

I don't remember exactly what year all these guys won it, but I know Hogan won it 3 times, Austin won it 3 times, HBK won it as a face, etc. I mean, besides Vince winning it and forfeiting the title shot to Austin, has a heel ever won it before???

Don't forget about Yokozuna, and I think HBK was a heel the first time he won it(1995), and Hogan only won it twice. A face has usually won it though, I hope they don't do that at RR 06 though.

Your right, Michaels was a heel the first time he won it only to go on to Wrestlemania to lose to...Diesel?! uhhh....I just remembered why Wrestlemania 11 was the worst Wrestlemania ever. LT vs. Bam Bam main event, following Big daddy cool actually retaining the belt, I don't know why I even watched wrestling back then except for Taker, Hart and HBK.

I'd love to see the victor of the Royal Rumble win the title BEFORE Wrestlemania eg) at No Way Out. I think it'd be something interesting and different.
