| The most disappointing finish to a match? Which match finished in a way that completely deflated you the most? Either the worst booked finish, or a mass of run in's that frustrated you, or just a match that you were desperately hoping for a victory for the other guy. I've come up with a few. Bret/Shawn. Both the iron man mania match which I hated because it was unrealistic for both men to concede no pins for an hour and then to have to watch that stupid overtime crap, and also their SSeries bust up because (at the time, live) it was just dumb and weird to watch when the match was just kicking up the gears. Benoit/Rock. The one where Shane was Benoit's manager and Benoit won the Title only to have Mick Foley overide the decision. Rock/Foley. The ladder match on Raw which finally saw the belt swing toward Rocky just before the first Stone Cold/Rock mania match. Just too god damn obvious. Foley is horrible in ladder matches, just not his suit, and a terrific three month feud which featured countless classics finished with a lame free tv blow off. Now you go. Or not. | |||||||||||||||

| Any "cheap" PPV finishes, e.g DQ's always bug me. When they do free TV finishes on a PPV, that's a pile of crap. | |||||||||||||||

| The Raw several months back where Jericho got DQed for crotching Edge on the top rope. Something that happens in practically every match but for some reason they decided that was worthy of a disqualification really baffled me. | ||||||||||||||

| The Matt Hardy/Edge MITB Ladder Match from a few months back. I just thought it was such a lame finish for Lita to hold Matt in the ropes while Edge just walked up the ladder and got the case. I had a lot of disgust for that. | |||||||||||||||

| O.K SHAWN V BRET WM 12 the Iron man match was dissapointing as you said Bulldog, when wanting to watch the match again, it can be very boring, id rather it was booked as one of them playing "catch up"...... ANGLE V SHAWN - Raw homecoming 30 minutes and it ended in a non finish, then angle walked out....this on such a hyped up show dissapoitned me, well at least the in-ring action was decent enough. perhaps the biggest dissapointment was 1996, Mind Games PPV mankind v hbk- great match, but the interference at the end of this 20 plus minute match sucked | ||||||||||||||

| if you end the main event of a ppv with a dq, you have just wasted my $35. also, at the royal rumble, it seems rare that they have someone win it cleanly. Every other year it seems like the last two guys end up going over the top at the same time. at least this year they restarted it and had a true winner. that always sucks. | ||||||||||||||

| Disappointing finishes? The ones where a real injury forces the match to stop prematurely. Lita vs Trish - New Year's Revolution That fued had been built forever and this was going to be the big payoff but it only lasted a few minutes and Lita had to drop the belt because of that dang injury early on. Owen Hart vs Steve Austin - SummerSlam '97 A good match but the weakest finish ever. Again, due to injury. That remains the most unbelievable 3 count in all of wrestling history. | ||||||||||||||
