So if WWE now turns to Chavo (and not as Kerwin White) and gives him a push, which will seem to be a push related to the death of his Uncle, does that disturb/bother you in anyway? If they have nothing for this guy and were jobbing him out on the internet Heat but....with Uncle Eddie's passing.....they now decide they have storylines for him and that he's a marketable guy.....if they go down that route does that make you feel a little strange about it? Not even a little bit?? What if you worked with your Uncle.......the bosses have made it clear they love your Uncle but are not very keen on you....in fact they've pretty much demoted you to the post room. Then with your Uncle, that you loved dearly, passing on the bosses call you in and tell you they're promoting you with a pay rise and a new position out of the post room. Oh sure, that in itself is great, but you know damn well why it's happening. How do you feel? Think of Bret when he was in WCW. They misused him and gave him crap all until Owen passed on and suddenly within a couple of months he was World Champion with public feeling behind him and it was pretty obvious why WCW went down this route.

Not if you look at it from the stand point that Eddie is now gone and there is a spot to fill in the sense of what he could bring to the ring and on the mic. Chavo could fill that spot so to speak, because he DOES have the talent to do so in respect to his own skills. I see no problem with him getting a push at all. He also could take the ball and run with it and step it up a notch and make his uncle proud. If someone were to blindly say he is only getting a push because of Eddie's death, well what is WWE suppose to do, hold him back if he does step it up for the very same reason?

In short some people will feel bad either way. Personally I think he deserves to be there on merit so will not complain.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I'll just be happy to see him get a decent push if that's what happens because like some of you have already said, he just plain deserves one. As for people feeling like he's only getting pushed because of Eddie and because he might have some strong public sentiment behind him, well, they can think that if they want, because quite simply, that's business. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I truly believe that he should have gotten a push a lot earlier. He really should have been on Smackdown carrying the Cruiserweight belt. If his push does come now, it won't bother me that they are doing it because of Eddie's death, I will be bothered that it didn't happen sooner. And you really can't compare Chavo to Bret. Sorry, but it's true. |

Rep Power: 19 ![]() | The cruiserweight division has been buried by WWE, the last think I want is to stick him in the crusierweight division. I think he does deserve a push, but they should wait a few weeks before starting to push him because I don't want him to be pushed just because of Eddie's death. I wouldn't be upset if they decided to push him right away though because he's great to watch in the ring. |
