Who would be your choice of GM?

Do you think we need to have a GM on WWE TV shows? Is there still a need for it. Sometimes I hanker for the days of matches being booked or requested by a mysterious commitee that we never knew about, or a WWE boss guy that remains off TV as a character.

Personally I think the whole thing burned out with Vince who played the owner/heel/boss thing so well that no one else has ever or could ever match it.

I've hated Steph, Teddy Long and others in this role. Austin was awful at it. Bischoff could have been good due to his acting skills but he has been immasculated so often on the show that his characther is now stagnant. Heyman I thought was good at it, but obviously Vince never thought so.

So if you could have your choice of GM's for both shows who would you go for? Or do you think we don't need them anymore?

I liked Heyman at it too. I think Shane'o' is a good choice. Foley could carry it off. It would be nice to see Coach usurp Bischcof, that would make a good story. What about a returning JR? that could kinda work too.

I had a sig, once.

Damn I forgot Foley. He was excellent at that job. Loads of great moments especially with E&C and Kurt. I also recall him and The Rock chatting, then when The Rock left Al Snow approached him saying he was fed up with all the ribbing he'd had from Foley. Foley said he was sorry and tonight he would make it up to him by giving him a title shot. Al blurted out "Al Snow against The Rock?", to which Foley spat drink everywhere laughing his head off and saying "no....Al Snow against Bob Holly for the Hardcore Title" and then just walked off laughing his head off saying "Al Snow against The Rock hahahahaha.....you sleigh me Al"....cut to Al looking really miffed.

Foley was gold in this role, probably because he was such an opposite to Vince's perfect heel playing in the role.

I don't want to continue replaying old episodes so I wouldn't go for Foley again.

I honestly think in Bischoff they had the best guy for it, but have totally cut him off now.

Just remembered Kurt as a GM too. That was horrible. And Val Venis as Chief of Staff!!! Yuk.

Regal wasn't too bad at it.

Bullgod. For someone that doesnt watch the WWE anymore you sure are coming up with some bloomin bloody good topics.

Foley was always my favorite although William Regal comes in a close second.

As far as November 2005 is concerned?

I personally would like to see Bischoff get removed from the position but remain on television as a manager for someone like Snitsky and Tomko with Angle leading the stable.

Bischoff could go on and on with the whole "I got screwed out of my spot" etc etc etc.

I would like to see Foley get the spot again, and for Smackdown give the GM spot to Paul Heyman. But since that will NEVER happen.............who knows Holla Holla Teddy Long isnt too bad.

This thread should keep going. Now Raw no longer has a GM, so lets have everyone post an opinion of who should be the new gm.

I don't want anyone who was already been it, so that leaves out foley, heyman, angle, all mcmahons.

I would like to see Jim Ross, Ted Dibiase, or Jerry Jarrett.

U?

Shane and Linda have never been GMs. So I will go with Shane, I love seeing him on TV and think he would be a great GM.

Other than him though, I would go with JR or DiBiase, maybe Bret Hart if he was willing to(but he's already said he's not interested in that type of role.

Visit and shop for video games at my Amazon-based store, also get discounted HD DVDs while they last.

I would like to just see both rosters combined and just have Vince in an on air role and let him make all the decisions.

DiBiase would be an awesome choice. He could buy talents to form his own stable. I really like the idea of him remaking Money Inc.

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

Bret Hart would be a huge choice but I dont think he would be very good at it and it just wont happen.

I would like to see Paul Heyman (In any capacity back on TV!!!)

I think it will be Shane for a short period then Bischoff will come back in.
