Eugene situation - could this be a work?

Just throwing this one out there.

I honestly think that this is just a work in order to kill off the Eugene character. The character has really hit the wall creatively and it is time to move on.

With the way that wwe.com and the WWE in general has presented topics lately, it wouldn't suprise me if this was a work.

The WWE will probably work it so that it shows that Eugene was really the inner child of Nick Dinsmore and he needed treatment. After a few weeks in a mental hostital, Nick will leave a healthy man, ready to wreak havoc on the WWE, hopefully starting with a feud with the IC champ at the time, whoever it is, hopefully not Flair anymore.

What do you guys think?

I think they need to just bite the bullet and fess up on this one. Just once, wouldn't you love to see them post something to this effect:

"We have killed the 'Eugene' character because we ran out of fesible ideas for him, but we really like Nick Dinsmore, so we are scrapping the gimmick so we can better utilize his talents as a perfomer." - WWE Writing Staff.

Okay, I just came up with this for a more likey approach that would work well:

Nick Dinsmore, as himself, shows up in a few weeks on Raw, eluding security and makes his way out to the ring. He gets on the mic and reveals that it was his Uncle Eric who suspended him because even though he was "made to fail", he was still popular and had a great career going. His uncle did not want him to succeed in the business and that the only way he got his WWE contract in the first place, was if he agreed to potray the "Eugene" character. But, he is fed up with pretending to be something he isn't and just wants to be himself. Then, they could set up a Nick Dinsmore Vs Eric Bishoff match at the next PPV on the grounds that if Nick wins, he gets to stay employed in the WWE, and can just be himself.

It would need Nick Dinsmore to really take it too a new level to get over. Sure they can say they suspended him because they found out he was playing at being retarded all this time. But then he's got to come back as a heel and all his comedy spots are gone. Obviously with his new heel persona of being a fake the most accesible program for him to carry out would be to join up with his good friend Rob Conway and for a tag team the Con Men. But after that as a singles performer his options are limited by his look and his being tied to one of the worst gimmicks ever for his breakout year. Good Luck Nick.

I don't think they would fire Dinsmore yey since he is such a good wrestler in the ring. He was just suspended and will probably be back in a few weeks.

I say keep him off longer, let him shave his head, get into better shape. (As I believe his only is a bit soft in the waist for the Eugene Character). Get the Man some new gear, hopefully with full legs and bring em back fresh.

And I', not going to say the story how to bring him back as we acan all think or numerous amounts of situations. Unfortunatly to let him be Nick Dinsmore we have to let go off everyones seemingly favourite solution, Eugene: Evil Retard
