I didnt see a thread about this so I was just wondering what everybody thinks about Styles? Would you like him to stay on and replace coach and JR? Do you think he will? I hope he does, watching taboo tuesday with him calling the matches was just better. It was nice to watch a match and have the annoucer acutally call most of the moves in the match and use all the right names!!! I hope Joey Styles stays around, the guy is the best announcer in the business today in my opinion.

I think they should replace Lawler with Styles and move Coach back to color commentary instead of play by play. I think he would be willing to, he enjoyed doing commentary for ONS and again at TT so i'm sure he would like to do it again. He would also make a better replacement for JR than Coach ever could.
Like you said, it was also nice to have an announcer who knows his history and the names of moves. JV pointed out that he knew what an enziguri(sp?) was and Coach probably wouldn't even be able to pronounce it.

Joey Styles was a breath of fresh air on Taboo Tuesday. Sometimes when you listen to a commentator it just sounds right, and thats what I get whilst listening to Styles.

I never really saw ECW so the only time I've listend to him commentate is on WWE produced DVDs with ECW matches on them. I didn't think too much of him at the time, but after ECW One Night Stand, and Taboo Tuesday my opinion of his commentating has risen.

For RAW I would have Styles and Lawler as the announce team. The only reason I don't want to see Coach as a colour commentator is that normally that role is left to an ex pro of any sport, and since Coachman hasn't been an active wrestler I don't see him doing very well in that department. He hasn't been in the situations to comment on them.

i was a huge ecw fan, so i know that styles is the man.

i think that he really should replace the coach on raw, that way lawler can go back to being the heel.

I loved Styles in his ECW days and would love it if he were a permanent fixture on the RAW broadcast team. Coach is no play by play man.

I think Coach and Joey would make a good team. King didn't seem to fit in with Joey too well.

I say keep styles and king together and put coach as a manager, have him be the mouthpeice for some guy whos a decent wrestler but horrible on the mic... JV has been saying it forever and i agree. Maybe turn Shelton Benjamin heel and team up with coach?
